Oh I see. In the VN and the original anime adaptation, the first chapter was Onikakushi. But for this anime, the chapter is Onidamashi. Close enough in name to maintain the similarity, but clearly different. That name even lampshades it, translating to English as "Demon-Deceiving"
I wonder if she'll actually get stuck or if she'll just play a lot

I'm pretty sure that's what the synopsis said. I guess I'll go check again.

It's a bit weird since the synopsis doesn't seem to entirely line up with the show since she's already wearing the outfit in-game.
Or shuffling things a bit so it doesn't feel too much like a repetition of the first adaptation. Plus like you did say earlier, the cat's kind of been out of the bag for some of these major twists now almost twenty years. I'm interested in seeing what they choose to do differently this time around.
Hopefully since the cat is out of the bag, they'll concentrate more on the story after things start to go crazy. How many eps is this going to be?

I've only heard of a single cour confirmed so far. Which is a bit worriesome since the first adaptation of the first four VN arcs was two-cour, and they still had to do some super compression to get it all in there. Buuuut at the same time the PV material for this new adaptation, the people who have been analyzing it, think they've only seen stuff from the first three arcs, plus maybe a few small early introductions here any there. So this one cour might only be three of the original arcs. It's hard to tell! Plus some times the online information is incorrect or not accurately reported and a second-cour follows up the first one without us being told it wll. For the moment though, only one cour is confirmed.
They showed both twins so we'll probably be getting their arc. It was the second one in the first adaptation so it'll probably be second here too I bet.
Man that's kind of a downer resolution for a bunch of the characters. Cop boy is basically just now a military tool for hunting terrorists. The professor is still trying to force evolution the human race which is kinda ethically sus. The aidoru is now a prettyboy hacker Batman trying to be a superhero in the shadows. And the MC lost her cool precog superpowers and still seems to be stalked by evil entities.
kind of a weird ending but it was kind of a weird series

Probably hard to make a concrete story out of a phone game dating sim. They also probably seed stuff like the aidoru going edge and maybe actually do something with the professor being colourblind in their specific routes in the game. Well it wasn't the worst thing this series. Er this season. But probably the second-worst.
