Golden Kamuy should precede itself.
Maoujou de Oyasumi is about a princess that just wants to sleep but life conspires to not let her sleep. Animated by Doga Kobo so it should look cute.

Well we're still in the first week of the season, you know how it can be kinda quiet at the start.
I think we'll only be getting like three shows on Mondays once things are in the full swing of it though.
It kinda looks just from eyeballing it that the week starts off pretty light and gets more and more dense the closer we get to the weekend.

if Kami-tachi will be good or bad but Tonikaku is the one by the author of Hayate the Combat Butler so I'm looking a bit forward to it.

It's been so long I kinda don't remember all the details.

Well kids aren't normally known for their good manners and social tact.

Oh I was about to say these guys look pretty Russian.
They literally are Russian.

Though even if this is Russian territory the Japanese took over after their war I think they'd still look a bit more Asian-y or at least a bit Mongolian.
These guys look a bit more like Slavic Russians who were more west Russia.

The fact that this show has so many characters makes it a bit hard to follow along at times, but at the same time the fact that Sugimoto keeps joining and leaving various people makes the banter always kinda fresh.

The Russian did a good job of really pissing off all these Japanese soldiers.

Now there was a movie for this series that came out a few years back.
I don't actually know if it's canon to the anime or not.
But I guess we'll find out.

I don't remember much about this other than onii-sama is stong and the imouto is a crazy brocon

I remember the magic was super technical, but not like, a thoroughly crafted magic system from a writing perspective.
Kinda like with Sasuga Maou-sama from last season it was a system that was just bullshit enough to excuse any crazy shit the MC could pull off.

Compared to the cocky or carefree look of a lot of the overpowered MCs of series like this, Onii-sama kinda has a resting bitch face.
His neutral expression is kind of that of worry.

Oh that blonde girl has a cute kimono style.

Thigh boots and a short-skirt kimono is a quality aesthetic choice.

Rettousei (Irregular) was the term they gave Maou-sama last season too.
They're both kinda similar characters too.

My first thoughts when she took a truck to the head without issue was maybe a vampire or something since she kinda has vampire-y eyes and has only showed up at night so far.
But she hasn't had any other vampire activities aside from that.
Maybe she's just a mystery.

Because she only seems active at night.

But either way the guy's right she is pretty cute.

i like this better than hayate so far

I really liked some of the parts of Hayate that I think were a bit more unpopular.
Like when the ojou got thrown out of her mansion and effectively disinherited so she tried to live a poor life while becoming a famous doujinshi artist.
I don't think the development was terribly popular and when the arc was over she got to return to her ojou life pretty easily.
But I found it fun.
It was also a series that somehow managed to go on and on and on for years with like nothing actually happening, only to every now and then drop a real story-heavy arc on you.
The Atena arc was a really good story.

I think hayate's main issue is that it went on and on with nothing happening, yeah.
And the characters weren't that great

I enjoyed it as a gag manga because of that though.
You can't really have a lot of PLOT in your gag manga otherwise it gets too serious.

And they ARE making it really hard for her to sleep peacefully.

Comfortable beds are important.
The one I've got at my parent's place up north is a miserable mattress.
It's almost impossible for me to fall asleep on it unless I'm pretty much at the point of exhaustion.

This girl is going to lay waste to the Maou's castle long before the Yuusha makes his way to it.
