That was fun. Seeing all the critters along with the potato people really gives it a fantastical feel. Sort of like those kids books that always have little people and animals living together.
>>438161 I think a lot about what I'm saying, verbally at least. There's a much shorter line of communication between my fingers and the part of my brain that makes my words up. It makes talking with people kind of hard.

>>438162 the more thought i put into what to write down the shorter and less verbose my posts become so i like how doushio kind of creates the same method of communication as just saying things even though it's through text if there wasn't a pressure of live updating of my posts i would think too much about what i'm saying and never actually say anything
in real life i talk a lot but ont he internet and through texts i usually say very little but i guess you would probably be the only one here who can understand that
you seem more confident in your words online though maybe that's something you already are working on, anyways.

I do think there's a degree of confidence and comfortability I have in writing things out that I don't have with speaking. I can speak well enough to get by, but generally unless I really feel I have something to contribute to a discussion, I'm happy to let others talk and just listen in for the most part.
Being that way does mean it's hard for me to strike up conversation, like I'm always impressed with how you can just get into a conversation with just about anyone; I can't make that starting break myself unless I've got a functional purpose to the conversation, like directions or assistance.
