Oh yeah I meant to bring this up earlier but the first wave of pre-orders for stuff selling this season has come in. Surprising to me is that Hamefura is doing insanely well. Same with Yesterday wo Utatte taking third place. I mean they're both good shows but by now it's obvious there's no correlation between quality and sales. Kakushigoto and Fruits Basket doing well is pleasant to see too.
Yeah I'd agree. Pretty much everything that's on there probably deserves to be doing well, aside from Sakura Wars which is a poor-quality 3D CGI adaptation of the new game. I was looking forward to that since Tite Kubo did the character designs but apparently it would be better just to play the new game. Not that I can, since no PS4, but eh.

The casting and catching part is nice. All the other components just seem far too visceral for me.

Yeah, it's a CGDCT show in a niche that hasn't really been done before. There was that cute boys doing fishing things like five or six years back but that's the closest thing that comes to mind.

Kumeta, the guy behind Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei has a series getting adapted this season, Kakushigoto. The first two episodes have been really nice and completely his style. It comes out for Thursday nights.

All the characters in this are pretty ridiculous. There isn't really a hard normal type. Aside from maybe the cow demon girl but she's also like, never the spotlight of anything.
It really is. They come up with weird fortune predictions for all sorts of stuff. That's why you always see things like blood type come up, for people that want to do compatiblity or personalty fortunes for blood typing.
