Yeah, Tower of God's got some good moments to it. There's a lot of material too, the webtoon's been running like way more than a decade by now. I'm really hoping we see more of it getting adaptated after this one cour it's been greenlit for so far.

Yeah I was kinda thinking something like that too. Having to find yourself as a young adult is pretty tough. Easy to become disillusioned with the whole affair.
Gist of it is a young girl living in Renaissance Italy bucks social norms and becomes an apprentice artist to Leo-totally-not-nardo da Vinci.

Honestly he'd probably risk his own placement in the workshop if he did something like that to help her into it. I know it feels nice to help but some times people need to know when self-preservation is important.

Fishing is something I kinda think I'd like and not like. The notion of relaxing while keeping an eye on the rod or line sounds nice but I don't think I'd like the prep work like baiting or handling the caught fish.

I don't think it would be very fun for me. I've got an extreme apprehension to textures that are overly slimy or wriggly. And I don't have any experience with butchering freshly killed creatures, combined with finding activities like that generally unpleasant. I think just overall it's not something I'm suited to.

i did go sea fishing on a boat in the gulf once and got really seasick though
i like fishing but im not so good with boats

It's been a while since I've really been on a boat but I've never had a problem with them in the past. Though never really on the ocean, just on lakes. Some pretty large lakes at times though.

>>831058 When I fished as a kid I was too young for the adults around me to let me put stuff on hooks. About the time I was probably getting old enough to we stopped visiting my grandparents so often so we weren't fishing there.
And I don't think fishing's a hobby my dad particularly cared for so he didn't take me or my brothers out to do it. So since it wasn't something we showed personal interest it, it didn't really ever happen.

ive never fished like this though it's kinda cute catch a bunch of lil small fishies
cleaning and cooking them fresh is the best part fresh caught fishes are so tasty

It sounds really unpleasant to me! The more closer to their original form, the harder it is for me to stomach fish or meat. I can't do lobster or mussels for that reason. There's too much distress involved.

The casting and catching part is nice. All the other components just seem far too visceral for me.

Yeah, it's a CGDCT show in a niche that hasn't really been done before. There was that cute boys doing fishing things like five or six years back but that's the closest thing that comes to mind.

Kumeta, the guy behind Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei has a series getting adapted this season, Kakushigoto. The first two episodes have been really nice and completely his style. It comes out for Thursday nights.
