Oh speaking of duplicate detection I thought of a primitive method that would probably catch the stuff bang would spam. It would be a function that takes the average color of each pixel in the image and then you pick a tolerance and prevent images whose average pixel color are within that tolerance. You could modify it to work with grayscale but it would not work on pure black and white images.

My idea was to mmake a system to automate the recording of red letter media videos onto blank tapes and sending them to them. Because tththey have a series where they play jenga with blank tapes and then they watch every single tape in the winner's stack.
My sangha has some VHS tapes of recordings of dharma talks roshi (my teacher's teacher) gave like 20 years ago that we were talking about converting. I offered to do it since I'm like young and they're all 60+ with the exception of one guy who is like 50. I'm sure they could do it but I think it'd be best if I do it.

I'm less interested in meal prep but I am looking forward to living on my own so I can make big batch stuff like chili or curry on Friday or Saturdays and then just have the four or five servings I make carry me through the entire week plus change. Since I generally try to not eat the same thing for dinner two nights in a row something like that could easily last me a long while.
if i had infinite money id love to try one of those mail meal prep things my grandparents use it and it seems kinda cool i meal prep so lazy microwaved chicien and instant rice

I'm really not a fan of the microwave for heating up most foods. Anything I can make that i can instead throw in a pot on the stove for like ten minutes I'd rather go for.

Someone at a treatment center near mine got shot and killed today by a former patient there. Just a few hours ago. Shot right in the head, died before he got to the hospital. Almost everyone around here has worked at that treatment center before, so it's hitting everyone really hard.

The only deck size limit is that it can't be so big that you can't shuffle yourself. But there's actually a card that makes you win the game if you have 200 or more cards in your library so people really did make giant fucking decks built around it.

Eight pallets of stuff came in today yikes Thankfully it's like at most two unique types of product and for one of the pallets I can probably just enter into the database, sticker, and shelve the items. But the other seven I'll probably have to open boxes, enter, and sticker probably either 144, 288, 433, or 576 items. It'll probably take a while.

If you get only one of the two doses, what do you have? An incomplete immune response to the virus. So let's say you have one dose and then get infected, and the incomplete immune response isn't enough to take care of it? Well, now you've selected for a version of the virus that can survive that immune response, which leads, of course, to mutation and new strands which can survive the immune response created by the vaccine.
If millions of people are doing this and inadvertently propagating the mutation of the virus, then our vaccines no longer work effectively against it.

Covid in particular, it's a concern for because it does tend to mutate pretty easily. Relatively. But we haven't needed a masse vaccine rollout in decades, and in the past two-dose vaccines weren't really a problem because we didn't have such big anti-vax movements. So people would say "oh, polio vaccine? i should get that" without thinking about it too much. Even if they got sick. A lof of people are probably gonna feel like shit after their first dose and then be too afraid to get their second dose, especially with the misinformation climate of today.
Of course, I'm still on the fence about whether I'll get it, myself.
