tracheostomy, we would not know whether shew // she would be able to recover until after the tracheostomy is performed and sedation removed, but her body has undergone so much trauma that it's not likely i could certainly nurse her to better health in a home care setting but there's not enough time for me to coordinate with blue cross to arrange for those things with the care coordinator the hospital would immediately ship her to a nursing home where she'd almost certainly die alone and scared or else live in a vegetative state due to their negligence
im being deprived of the opportunity to be her caretaker when i have been for half of my life it only got this bad because of the hospital disregarding my special instructions in the first place for her exceptional needs/rare conditions she should have been extubated on april 9th and remained off of it but the fucking shitcan nurse just mistook her normal affect as 'incoherent' and a bad reaction, so rather than letting me know they had woken her up, they just restrained her and re-sedated her and ignored her cries for help i did get to see her that evening very briefly and she was fully alert and conscious and coherent, but the nurse got combative with me about it and refused to acknowledge it, and the next morning she was back on the ventilator
im so pissed about so many things and there's nothing i can do about any of it and now she's so damaged that she probably just needs to have her suffering ended and that'll probably happen in the morning im completely drained on all levels i dont have it in me

re:zero is pretty good yeah the problem with isekai is that they're nearly always wish fulfillment first and foremost like hey look, this dumb loser's life became amazing YOU COULD BE THAT DUMB LOSER TOO

adaptations t end to be made of stuff that sells well and wish fulfillment seems to sell well and I'm pretty sure the re:zero WN has more of that than the anime we're getting
it's one of the reasons i get so hype for anime originals or VN adaptations of ones that are actually interesting i feel like they have actual potential

The vast majority of isekai are pretty much web novels that got turned into light novels/manga that eventually got anime adaptations So they usually have their roots in the author basically having full range freedom to write how they want to write And get moved up on that production pipeline by being popular and rated highly And as we all know about the average taste of the general populace It's absolute garbage So most of the stuff that gets closer to the stage where we can watch it as anime is stuff that panders or at least tickles the interests of the general populace.
