I flooded my kitchen last night. It was kind of funny. I have a drain stop in because I forgot to take it out after I killed off the fruit flies living in my garbage disposal. So I put my water filter pitcher in the sink to fill up and forgot it there. For hours.
I was upstairs playing Phasmophobia with Pan and Ton, using my new VR headset, and occasionally I'd hear this dripping sound, and I was like, "haha, wow! the sound in VR is so immersive! this is amazing!" Two hours or so later I go downstairs to get a snack and I realize that the dripping sound was actually my kitchen flooding.
The fun part of dinosaur illustrations is with few exceptions, we really have no idea what they actually looked like on the surface So really reality can be whatever the illustrator wants and it's just as valid as anything else

I pay for Spotify so I don't have to bother with the ads But I think it generally has had any song I've wanted to listen to, even a lot of weeb music and general music out of Japan Plus I really like their weekly discovery playlist, which strings together an hour or so of music based on the things you've listened to recently The algorithm they use can be a bit doofy at times (I've listened to a lot of musical numbers recently so they're kind of filling it up at the moment), but I can usually find two or three songs a week in it that I really like, and usually most of the playlist is things I enjoy. I think the app does a great job of detecting the things you're enjoying and finding music which is a similar sound to that Additionally the app offers a very broad selection of podcasts, even podcasts which aren't directly affiliated with Spotify, which has been a big help for my sanity with the banal work I do at my job.
On any given workday I usually have Spotify running on my phone anywhere between three to seven hours of the day, which by my standards more than pays off the monthly subscription they charge Would recommend.

Yeah music and podcasts really help me survive the days at my workplace The warehouse usually has two or three people playing their own music through the speakers, but one, that's a lot of sound pollution that kinda messes with me since it's too much sensory material, and two, I don't always like the music they're playing I've got my own earbuds I use
It's funny, when I've worked in retail I've been content to just listen to whatever music plays over the PA system, although I've only ever worked places that play relatively neutral genres and songs But when there's like two or three different songs running at the same time my brain just gets overloaded

My first one was at a walk-in clinic I just had to be a resident of the province and I could go in, no appointment My second one I needed to book an appointment for though, but it was a same-day appointment, so still pretty smooth and effortless
