Most people get into psychology to figure out what's wrong with themselves or their parents, and so they never engage with it past a superficial level. They end up being crappy therapists with poor training who just reflect what you say back at you and expect that to be enough.
Therapy is a difficult job. For me, just by luck, a lot of it comes very naturally. For example, I can run process groups pretty easily. But I'm really bad at providing psychoeducation.
But it really just is luck that I'm good at it. I just happened to have experiences in my life that set me up to be successful with this.
If I don't do my job properly, it can put people at serious risk and they can die. Most of my clients are very high risk. And even if I do my job perfectly, there's still a decent chance they'll get themselves killed.

really i would love to do the proper thing and just have one Arduino for flashing and flash a bunch of chips and then put them into projects
but well the current project, i need USB comms (or any other kind of comms, USB is just the easiest) so i might as well use an arduino nano
anyhway i'm torn betwen using this busted ass Spark Core i kickstarted seven years ago that is now EOL unsupported but still kinda works it's got wifi but it seems flaky and prone to needing to be restarted?
probably maybe these cheap arduino nano clones will work and then i need to write a tiny daemon that will run on the NUC and monitor the ETH2 state, and write it to the virtual serial port
