I'm way too high-strung right now I can't get calm enough to fall asleep. This constant stress and worry I'm trapped in these days makes these hours of laying in bed trying to fall asleep an onslaught of anxious thought after desperate attempt to find a solution after anxious thought. Even in a kind of tired state I can't wind down enough to actually fall asleep. I'm just stuck tossing and turning until finally I've been awake long enough to be too tired to be awake.

Have you tried putting on classical music? There's also body relaxation techniques Like tensing your muscles and holding them tense then rleasing them Don't tense them too much though cause you can get a cramp.

Oh yeah Jan I dunno if you've been bothering to keep up with the Fruits Basket anime but it's getting close to the end and it's been continuing to be a great adaptation. The most recent ED has some really sexy outfits for the cast too.

I really like the game but I've definitely fallen out of the habit of playing. Lately I've been flipping between just nuking everything and starting fresh or seriously trying to clean up all the stuff that's probably overgrown since I haven't played in so long. I still have like a thousand turnips in my basement that are just rotting.

Short answer, no. I might be able to sell them for, I unno, like maybe ten Bells per 'nip, but there's no saving turnips once they rot. You can't even rewind time to save them since that auto-rots any turnips on your island automatically.
I went out and bought a Very Irresponsible amount of jelly beans and fruit gummies today. But I'm going to be trapped some place pretty miserable for two weeks so that's my justification for doing so. Hopefully I don't burn through all the candy in two weeks because the amount is -way- too large to heathily consume in that time period but I also know when I'm stressed and stuff like it is readily available to me, I tend to eat through it fast.

Finally found my cheap and shitty earbuds. I figured if they never showed up again it would be fine since they're already wearing down enough that I can't walk with them plugged in without it skipping and stop/starting songs, and in the end I paid like eight dollars for them. But it's still convenient to have. Less cumbersome for public transit than proper headphones.
It's been required for riding our public transit since early this month. On top of being heavily recommended and requested for a while now. That said I still see people for one reason or another not wearing one.
At least shops and other buildings of services, also required by by-law to require their customers to wear masks, can more easily throw people out if they want to.
I've seen some, but most who were wearing them were basically risk group, but they were wearing the ones that don't protect you, but protect others making it quite moot

My cat seems to have discovered she can hide out from getting soaked by rain by ducking under the barbeque cover. One less reason for her to come inside when the weather's warm. We don't even have the AC on so I don't know why she's so antsy about being indoors.
Man I tried playing some 2d sonic games And I've discovered that I actually don't enjoy 2d sonic. Which is a shame Because there are way more good 2d sonic games than 3d ones.

I've been getting some weird green flickers on one of my monitor in the past couple days. Just one of them, and only when it's displaying games or video. Initially I've been thinking it was the monitor starting to wear down; it hasn't been the best-quality monitor so far anyway. But if it's only games and video maybe it's a video card thing. Though I also did a total disconnect/reconnect of my PC and its peripherals a bit before it started acting up so maybe I didn't get a cable all the way in. I'm gonna try the cables and then see if updating GPU drivers fixes it. If neither do, well, I guess I can start thinking about upgrading monitors.

It's only one monitor and they're both connected to the GPU so I don't think it's the GPU going kaput. Video and games on the other monitor don't have the visual glitch. Whatever the problem is, seems localized to the one monitor.

Really? My Samsung monitor has a pixel that seems to go in and out of being dead (coincidentally, the same monitor that's being a pain right now), and it's just the usual red that I'm familiar with from dead pixels.

Which I know doesn't really make it a dead pixel but it's a weird phenomenon that perfectly imitates a dead pixel aside from when it functions normally.
Seems like unplugging and replugging the cable the monitor runs through on the GPU side of the connection fixed the glitch though. Even with the minor issues this monitor has it is still a bit nicer than my other one and I would rather take it up with me for this cottage exile than the other one so it's good to know it's still functioning adequately.

Maybe I should do a GPU driver update before going up anyway. Though I don't really need to, all the games I have available run smoothly enough.
My headphones are getting close to the point where they can't really fall apart anymore than they already have. At least not without passing beyond the limit of still being usable. I could really do with new headphones but what I really want is just a new pair of these ones. I've become really taken with them in the four or so years, but they're moderately expensive Sennheiser headphones and I don't really want to shell out full price for a pair. I got these ones on sale but since they reached the problematic point of falling apart I haven't seen them on sale since.
They're literally entirely falling apart. If you look at how the inner foam ring on the piece is exposed, the other side is just as bad. Thankfully the foam's desire to retain its shape keeps it in place but a forceful shake would easily pop it out from the worn-open cover. Also the cushioning for the headband is just ... entirety gone. Both the fabric cover and the foam cushioning. That's the part that started to show wear and tear first and eventually I was holding it in place with a hairtie, until I realized I could just chuck the parts that were falling off and still have it fit comfortably enough on my head. But even collapsed down to the smallest size it still fits a bit too losely on my head and I can't really tilt my head without then slipping. Plus it's a bit hard to see but the brown patch on the headband has started to fray off now too.
Funnily enough the only part that isn't really giving me grief is the cable. Plus they still sound perfectly fine, it's just a matter of physical annoyance at them not really being all too comfortable on account of all the decay.
i found my old sennheisers but like they have this tiny thin skin over the foam that seems to tear super easy i was using them anyway for the audio stuff i have but then the left can stopped workin so rip i got some new reference cans
