I've been getting energy at really inopportune times. Could barely sleep last night and my brain was firing off something crazy. So of course I get home today from. class and just conk out.
I started taking my Vyvanse again so I could get a lot of work done on my dissertation. I started getting a side effect I've never experienced before, even though I've been using Vyvanse for three years and amphetamines in general for like 15. It's a really ridiculous side effect that has severely dropped my productivity. I didn't really realize it until yesterday what was going on, and then I let it mess up my productivity again today. I have to manage it better. It's really frustrating.

Well the best part of sleeping in hotels is that you're usually spending the days doing a lot of activities. Stuff like walking around unfamiliar locations or checking out the sights. Even if you're uncomfortable sleeping in unfamiliar places the day's exhaustion can really help with falling asleep.

I don't think Solo is as awful as everyone says. But it's an incredibly unengaging movie. The story isn't really particularly bad, but almost every scene is just directed pretty boringly. There's not enough going on, the cinematography is super simple and it's kind of messy. If it had a better story, it might be good despite the poor direction, or if it had good direction, it might be good despite the just okay story.

That's about what I expected, I guess. The movie was tossed about so much while in-production that I can't imagine there would ever really form a cohesive directorial view. I bet there's a bunch of scenes in it that the final director didn't have time to re-do but instead had to work with. Which means instead of an organic plot it creates this weird hodgepodge of creative ideas. It's a poor environment to make a piece of fiction in.
There's a big part of the story that comes out of nowhere, too. Darth Maul shows up? With no explanation and no conclusion? I know side material like Rebels has him in it, but most movie watchers are not paying attention to that, and this is just confusing.

Yeah, I'd heard about that. It's definitely one of those things that's kind of divisive. People who knew about it from Rebels both seem kind of either excited or similar to you in it. And it must be a real surprise to someone who's never seen more that the movies or maybe a game or two.
Yeah. It introduces a big old plot thread that's basically going to be ignored forever, probably. Because it's resolved in the animated media. Solo really should have been an animated movie. It just seems like throwing that in and doing absolutely nothing with it was a poor move.

the buffs on q and w they gave him in 7.20 changed him a lot but it's really good to just follow around a PA and throw +80 damage and 32 hp regen on her so she can jump in and slay folks the new penitence is really strong for focusing 1 person down or taking rosh it affects allied towers and things too, so if someone dives tower with penitence on them that tower becomes a machine gun it's pretty fun

I have no idea. I might get heavier weights, when I started using these 5kg weights 2 months ago they were pretty heavy to use. they still are heavy.
