I need the Kekkai Sensen OST The first one ...isn't this the Persona vocalist? WAIT ISN'T THIS THE ... nah, it's not nevermind actually let me look this up
I don't have the actual OST. Youtube only credits Taisei Iwasaki The wikia gives a list of ALL the performers but doesn't actually say who did which song Ai Ninomiya, Shayne Holland, Hannah Macklin, Saucy Lady, Ben Lorentzen, Toft Willingham, Rie Tsuji, Shira Z.Carmel, Yuki Kanesaka, Deborah Pierre, Ayako Tsuchiya, BUMP OF CHICKEN

tilde, do you think i should bring my laptop so we can watch stuff in the hotel room? like at night
Anno
I'd be good for watching stuff if you did. There'll be a few things airing off the new season, probably. Other than that I'm not entirely sure what there might be to watch. The Doctor Who New Years special maybe, hah hah. If you've got something good in mind to watch then yeah, definitely.
Anno
Index and JoJo will air on the fourth, so Jan'll probably miss being able to watch them with us, unfortunately. Providing they're airing as normal that week at least. Though if you'd want to watch stuff you probably normally do with Fish that's fine by me.

I've got to do some shopping today. It could have been a short half-hour or so but I got invited to a New Year's party and I should probably bring something for that. And the nearest liquor store is a much further trip out.

At least it's warm today. The January chill hasn't hit us yet.
It's eleven Celsius here today! That's a stupid temperature for late December 'round here. I'm only wearing a single long-sleeve and a hoodie and I'm feeling way overdressed out here.

>>624401 My family is starting a small garden. We're gonna have lavender and some herbs >Unicorn I actually wanted to ask you something about that. Before Unicorn, would you be interested in a short spinoff ova? It's called 0080 and it's only 6 episodes long. I think it's the best written gundam and it's Christmas themed If you wanna do Unicorn instead that's fine too
>>624399 4 to 6 extra? That's crazy man That's rotten
>>624407 Okay, do you need a torrent? Yeah herbs are nice. They're not too difficult but they still hold a tangible benefit I'd like to get some flowers going
>>624402 No problem. >>624406 I used to grow lavender with other herbs in my garden. It's derelict now, but the sage and thyme still grow on their own without any attention. Herbs are nice because they don't usually take a lot of care and grow fast. It's no wonder they're so cheap at the market. I grew tomatoes too, but that takes much more effort.
>>624410 You're on the wavelength. Botanical gardens are really nice. The one here has a japanese garden that I've praised to high heavens before. Sitting out there at the sand garden in the summer is really relaxing. They have this little house that's suspended above a koi pond with tatami mats and sliding doors on the other end of the garden, too. It always makes me want to live there.

I think there might've been a maid-themed game like that ran by Rika perhaps? At the least I think I remember hearing about something along those lines, but this would have been before my time, so it's kind of hearsay.
I had to do a shopping trip earlier today to pick up some stuff but forgot my wallet and only realized after I'd walked like two-thirds of the way to my destination. For the second trip I decided to just bike since it was like 10C outside. It was kind of nice to get that kind of activity in the middle of winter at least. My thigh kind of hurts from the walking though.
>>624600 Nothing at all? Not even a fun fact? What's the funnest fact you've learned in the last week? >>624601 Sorry to hear that. Work can really make you feel like you're all used up. I feel like that a lot of the time, too.
I guess I did learn something a while ago I go through too many razors so I was looking up ways to make them last apparently you're supposed to wash them out every 1-2 swipes you can clean the hair with a piece of denim or your wrists
Anno
dunno how effective those are but with the razors I ho through I'll give them a try
>>624603 Makes sense, razors have a tendency of getting messed up easily. I think I already pretty much do that, but it's a good reminder to be vigilant. Putting razors near my wrists sounds like a pretty bad idea. >>624604 It might depend on how good your blades are, too! The disposable ones I know are generally so bad they stop working effectively after one or two shaves. But even the fancy six bladed razors don't last more than a few, anyways.
Anno
I wonder how bad waxing your face would be >>624605 yeah that sounds like a bad combination you probably have some denim around though >>624605 I find that's pretty true with both disposable and the fancy ones in my experience there's dudes out there claiming to make them last a year or so sounds a little too good to be true
Anno
also wiping them on a towel after use maybe these // this is common knowledge but it's not something that was put emphasis on when I learnt to shave
>>624606 I've got denim pants but not sure if I want to be seen taking my pants to the washroom for some reason. That's just asking for questions.
Waxing your face is probably really painful. There's a lot of capillaries in your face and the skin is thin there.
I don't really think it's possible to make a razor last a year no matter what kind of awesome titanium blade and cleaning method you're using. Probably just people that are content with a mediocre shave. >>624607 I was never actually taught how to shave. I just did it and learned from my failures. Nobody taught me how to do a lot of stuff the right way. >>624609 The sun is trying to give you too much life!

Some canned coffee in North America would be pretty nice. Though we don't have Japan's reliance on vending machines so it would be less cool.
Kirara, the Cat
We have, like, Starbucks canned coffee here.
It'd be cool to have some good canned coffee, though.
Anno
Starbucks is kind of stupid expensive though. I'm talking like the 150yen-style canned coffee they've got. Maybe it's not particularly great but man it's cheap.
>>624683 Yes because wanting to have cheap canned coffee is easily resolved by importing things.
!C0.PerkELE
why not import some eila
Anno
If I was to import stuff I'd just import the Japanese coffee at that point.
It's funny how these people are basically using the villain as a representation for themselves before knowing anything about it

More so if your first reaction to a villain is to see yourself super-imposed on that villain, perhaps you should think about what that says about you rather than the villain.

Well firstly you're assuming I wanna go to the US If I was travelling internationally I'd probably go to Japan, maybe China, visit old friends in Australia. I'd like to visit the south island sometime too
Second of all I'm not sure what's happening in Chicago. Nothing screams out to me in my mind that Chicago is a place I wanna visit Which is the other /moe/?

FormerRei@mobile
I guess new York. But LA would suck for a tourist unless they are going to be driving, and maria is too young to rent a car and not have to pay a shit ton.
>>624888 also Id rather somewhere like upstate new york I don't see the appeal of NYC
FormerRei@mobile

yeah but it's a fuckin city I can see that anywhere
FormerRei@mobile
Well right now we're talking about maria hypothetically visiting the US. Even Chicago is bigger than Australia's biggest city.
FormerRei@mobile
And really saying "it's a city, i can see that anywhere" is very reductionist.
Maria
Rei's right The biggest city I've been to is Melbourne which has a population of Around 4.5 million Actually that's fairly big Yeah a city wouldn't be that new to me New York is on a scale I'd be interested in seeing though But if I'm gonna go to a city I'd go to weeb central in Tokyo anyway
Anno
>>624901 fair enough >>624903 yeah it's absolutely reductionist but that's because by no stretch of my imagination /// well let's just say there's nothing I can imagine the city offering me
FormerRei@mobile
I like cities because they're dense. You don't need to travel long distances to get to places you want to go.

The museums in NYC are allegedly pretty good. Unfortunately i haven't been to many of them.
FormerRei@mobile
Oh yeah you could also visit new jersey. If you want to For some reason ...
Anno
I'll concede some of that sounds alluring
FormerRei@mobile
Also architectural and historical tours
FormerRei@mobile
Oh and the NBC studio tour, i went on that once, its pretty cool. You get to see where they do Saturday night live.
Anno
BUT the proviso would be I have to take the time I need I don't want to rush around somewhere like that
I can't wait until I can stop thinking about the new year
Anno
So what, a couple days?
Anno
yeah exactly
Anno
Not too long of a wait, at least. I'm gonna be a bit busy around and immediately after New Years so I'm facing that first week of 2019 with a bit of wary unease but also excitement.
Maria
is something going to change
Anno
It'll be the first New Years party I'll have been to in ... ever? At the least the first time going to one since I was a kid. Then on the second I fly down to Philly and then after I get back from that trip I need to do some figuring out of stuff concerning school pretty much immediately afterwards. So it's not much change but a lot of hectic activity.
I wouldn't say I am but I can enjoy one every now and then. I haven't had a lot of a physical set of friends, especially friends near my location, so I haven't really had a chance to go to parties though. So it's all a bit of a new experience for me. And that's always a worry.
I don't use my social media all that much so if there's anything out there I'll never see it
Anno
Yeah, I don't have a lot of social media either. But I'm aware that doesn't disqualify problematic social media bits from being an issue for me in the future regardless.
Anno
I remember some guy who came to visit in elementary school warning us about the dangers of MySpace funny to look back on that
If ya don't have a facebook you're definitely on a higher privacy tier than most sadlymi do and that's how I saw how loaded I got for december 31st 2017 lmao
Anno
I dropped mine years back. Though the friends I've gotten back in contact with have been nagging me to get back on it. I really don't want to though, but they are right that I don't have a great mean of getting in touch with them without it. Aside from texts.
