Tae Kim's is good because it tries to teach the more casual grammar and informal way of speaking. Too many Japanese educational things only teach you how to speak super polite and sound like you've got a stick in your arse. For better and for worse it's very thorough and slow though, yeah.
But, and I'm not going to say it's impossible, you're kind of shooting yourself in the foot just trying to learn from watching anime. If you're reading untranslated stuff, that can probably help too, but I think without having somewhere to regularly converse in Japanese, it's always going to not be the most efficient way of learning the language.

the full finnish marching gear was 40kg, though in proper order you had some of that on you, like the protective belts but still it would be 30 kg *plates not belts but then add to that food, ammo, what you happened to roll, like parts of the stove or tent or camo gear and you carried around essentially a small person's weight on marches
also the colouring for the "alien fungi" is just at times comeone does it have to be that pastel rainbow? you can have it alien looking, without having to have all of them be all the colours of the rainbow

I got a text from my doctor's asking me to call them. I had a blood test because I was down with a bad flu recently, I'm kinda suprised that they would contact me so quickly when usually I never hear back from them. I had a blood test before and they said they won't contact you unless they think its something important, usually no reply about blood test means all clear. Doesn't make me want to call back,
well if there is something weonfg it would be best to call tuen and find out now rather than wait on it
