sieging is what you do when you have time and supplies, but not the manpower to pull the assault or if the fort/city/castle just simply is that damn well defended so your only option is the hunger/thirst/disease game but that city has walls that look way too thin, so breaching them shouldn't be that hard and there is a fuuuuck ton of terrain the defenders need to cover
but for starters there are 4 weaknesses in the wall where the river flows out so those are main points to assault or atleast force the defender to hold the inner walls don't seem that well defendable either so after breaching it shouldn't be that hard
I'd prolly apply a breach the main wall and then siege the inner city and force them to surrender a kinda shock and awe tactic that would turn the populace against the defenders, especially if you cut them a good deal like "surrender now and there won't be looting" etc

I mean, its probably going to be terrible. But its simple enough to make. You just need a thick airtight container, boiled eggs and dry ice. You put them in the container and seal it. Then the dry ice sublimates and the pressure from the CO2 causes the egg to absorb CO2 over time and after leaving it in their for like 8 hours it shouod be carbonated. People do it with fruit and stuff all the time.
