I'm having trouble finding Golden Kamui.

It's under Golden Kamuy by HorribleSubs.
I did write it that way on the List.

I guess that's the official localized name? It feels kind of dumb to look at after years of seeing people refer ot it as Golden Kamui though.

It just didn't make it to the bot I use for whatever reason.

Ore might be funny, the synopsis sounds dumb but synopsis are garbage for actually understanding what an anime will be about.

I didn't know bears buried their meals in snow to preserve them though, that's neat.

This girl is kind of dwarfy.
Maybe its the heavy furs and kind of short stature.

Well, the ainu are different than the Japanese.
They may be shorter, I'm not sure.

Brown bears are serious fucking business.
Black bears are kind of cowardly, and grizzlies aren't as big a deal as their name kind of makes them sound.
But brown bears are monsters.

She sounds surprisingly cool with skinning a human.

Rounding up a bunch of prisoners is a lengthy ordeal probably and you've got to keep the skins preserved while you get them all.
It's kind of gruesome, really. But I guess worse has been done for the lust of gold by men.

Yeah this has definitely caught my interest.
I like the Ainu culture references too. I don't know much about them but what I learn definitely catches my interest.
Maybe I should read up on them a bit.

Also the Meiji-era FASHION on Sugimoto is super cool too.
That was an amazing era for Japanese fashion.

The MC is a bit self-loathing and defeatist but the doctor sure isn't helping.

It's kind of a weird present to get.
But as long as they're both happy it must be a great present.

This is a pretty heartwarming show though.
