>>45656 I'm sure it has some issues, yeah. It's pretty much impossible to roll out a new product without issues. The first generations of xbox and ps3 were plagued by issues where they'd randomly explode. New graphics cards tend to explode too. It's just a good idea to wait until after the initial shipment to buy something.
Kirara☆
Yeah but you could anticipate it and do extra testing You can't possibly be trying to justify large issues like this that are encountered by many people
>>45660 while xbox' red ring of death is infamous, the ps3 didn't explode or melt that much just on the normal levels of technical errors on machinery mass produced.
>>45663 Fat PS3s were pretty likely to fail too. Not quite as bad about it as the xbox was, but they're relatively rare now. They were sought after for awhile because they were easy to mod, but not a lot of them survived.

The OVAs are all pretty bad, but they're the campy kind of bad and that's as much a part of Higurashi as anything else. I don't dislike them, even though they get a lot of hate. >>45725 Well, it wouldn't be a stupid harem without stupid harem antics. There is always a lot of blue balling and NTR fakeouts. The new fatty is totally going to be a NTR fakeout giving us headaches for a few episodes, and she's totally going to be conflicted over it.
I was annoyed with how blatantly he appeared right as she was thinking about giving in to Masamune, though. It's like something out of Nisekoi.
>>45724 oh yeah. It's a wonderful place. Every day is December 25. Baubles, stocking. Reefs. Every night there's a gigantic feast and Santa-san hands out presents.
And if there are any human rights issues to do with lack of proper medical care or children getting detained without their parents, all that is swept right under the rug during the nonstop festivities.
Well, that's probably how it's going to go. It's the end of season drama, so they'll do this arc until the next to last episode. Then the last episode will probably be some pointless slice of life thing that happens after the NTR drama arc is resolved.
That is where DMC failed most, though I don't remember a single piece from its ost compared to dmc3 or 4 It didn't have bad, but neither did it have good or memorable ost especially no big lyrical pieces like the dmc3 cerberus and beowulf fights
Also continuing about DMC the bosses were too easy it fell into the same trap that God of War had, where mobs are harder than bosses, which is not a bad thing always but... dmc as a series is famous for the fucking annoying ultra hard bosses and it didn't have that.

My mother got this frozen lasagna as something easy I could just throw in the oven for this weekend. Which in itself, is fine. These lasagnas are actually generally pretty decent. Except she got the bulk, club-sized version. The kind meant to have like twelve servings to it. Whenever her and my dad go up to the cottage for the weekend, it's generally just me and my imouto here at the house--and she doesn't like anything tomato sauce based mostly. So it's like...I have this huge lasagna to cook up, and I'm the only one who really would eat it. Why not just get a smaller one.

Anno
I read very, very, very few comics when I was younger.
I was even feared in the circles who played with me Not because of how accurate or good I was but... because I had my main weapone ak-47 then my side weapon, a spring working scorpion, the ak47 was electric battery working weapon btw then my other side weapon, beretta, spring working too and then about 5 other spring working pistols that I carried in my pockets
so basically, I never ran out of weapons to shoot with but that was still not the reason why I was feared
the main reason was, if one of my 5 spring loaded toss away cheap shit guns ran out of bullets
I tossed them at people
and I tossed them good and they hurt like FUCK if someone got one of them in their head, which also counted as a kill. So that became a reason why people feared me also, why no one tried to rush me when it was clear that I was reloading my ak47s clip(s) (I had 5 clips) or my scorpions clips They were afraid I'd toss my side weapons at them7
So yeah that didn't carry over in C3 or Sabagebu side weapon tossing
it is /was a thing and I bet it still is a thing not to mention "stabbing" man so many matches were won by some random guy going rambo and stabbing the whole enemy team dead, because they were all reloading

and you only lost if you saiod "I give up" and actyually the most worst rule was "surrender is not appliable if the whole team doesn't give up" man that made you stockholm syndrome the instant you got captured cause if your former team mates didn't ive up TORTURE TIME

btw gas powered air soft guns hurt the most then comes spring and then comes battery/electrical
eletrical is best pretyt much, but is tied into battery power, so you will need several back up batteries for day long matches gas is pretty much the best, but it fails the most in low or high temperatures both
spring is most reliable, but no rapid fire
TN !PcAPtAiNJo
and as I said gas has the most power behind the shots people who had gas weapons, were considered sadists, especially if the same weapon was available in electric form
"zombieing" basically how do you know someone is hit, if they don't say it
people are honest about it but... some hits just scrape the clothes you are waering so you don't feel it, and well don't hear it usually too and add in different levels of pain tolerance, and some people don't even know if they are hit on bare flesh, when the adrenaline if high

What's his hope for the Trump administration? What's he hope they accomplish in these next 4 years?
Kirara☆
I never know I ask him but his irony is such an ingrained part of his personality that sometimes I can't separate it from what he really thinks I don't think he's actually happy with Trump right now But he liked Trump's coal policy
I don't think /pol/ people actually know themselves what they want Trump to do in office I think they just wanted him IN office because he's a complete meme spectacle The group wants him in, but all the reasons are said as jokes with the assumption that "everyone else knows why we actually support him", and they just joke with shit like "Well becasuse he's gonna gas the kikes lmao", knowing that both they themselves and everyone else realizes THAT is a joke The problem is I think nobody actually knows of anything that isn't a joke
There's the wall, I think everyone's serious about that I think a small portion are serious about the climate change stuff And with the wall, of course the ICE stuff is a nice thing everyone can probably get behind
But overarching, 4 year policy-wise, I don't think anyone really supports him on anything in specific
Of course, ironic as it may be, the fact that the Trump support is seemingly just based in memes and nobody really has anything in specific... It kind of means taking the support away is near impossible Because you can't point at anything they support and go "He didn't accomplish that!" or "That's wrong"

Probably But that doesn't make him less of a joke

i mean i know how the federal reserve works, but it's always been entertaining to me to see the extremist videos talking about it and acting like the whole government is puppets to the fed bankers and stuff and it's like they're just bankers doing banker things it's not that malicious

It's all an illusion they're promising payment of money THEY DONT HAVE this is why we need a gold-backed system anything else is going to collapse on us >>46974 yeah haha that's where i pull all this shit from they always go back and talk about the development of the gold backed system and why it was in place, and then how it got transitioned out of place by promising payment that the bankers couldn't back up because they didn't have the gold
it always struck me like, "Okay, so it's totally okay for the market to evolve into a gold backed system, but not out of it?" fuck usually there's reasons why we dont do things anymore
>>46976 but we DO the bankers don't care about us they just want to have more money to put in their pockets they want to have enough money to make wallets out of dollar bills to put their dollar bills in and tuck them into the pockets of their dollar-bill lined suits
>every time the government prints new money, they owe some of it to a bank Nande
月
>>46981 yeah this is true though the government doesn't print the money themselves, but they just ask the fed to print up the money for them and they buy the money from the feds for $1 per 98.7 cents >>46983 God owns those banks
Kirara☆
Yeah but those banks aren't privately owned banks Those banks aren't owned They just are
『sk』
>they're not government owned >they're not private Who are the people in this bank?

it does sound kinda weird that a bank can lend like 20 times more than it has
>>46989 What's the opposite of paranoia? like, to the point of trusting everyone's intentions as they are besides just gullibility I hear tons of paranoia about the feds and stuff, and I look at it and i'm like, "I don't see the problem." I don't see the problem with the NSA either. I don't think that I just take it all at face value, but I think to be paranoid about it is to overestimate the individual element of it I feel like it shows a lack of ability to see past the narrow scope of the individual iunno

Dutch banks are kinda different they // I mean the national dutch bank it's kinda similar to the federal reserve, but it doesn't have a monopoly on coin/bank anymore because of the euro
ah okay I'm reading about the dutch system atm and apparently our national bank is a joint-share company in which the dutch state is the only stakeholder the state can appoint a supervisory board which can hire, fire or suspend the board of directors. But apparently that supervisory board still should only serve the joint-share company. sounds like a weird construction
I remember Ron Paul wanted to do away with the IRS What would have been his intention having a different system in place?
Anno
apparently they store their gold in new york, london and ottawa and amsterdam too
Anno
lol because the state is the sole stakeholder of the national bank, they get paid 95% of the profit the national bank makes
Kirara☆
>>47021 Ted Cruz wanted to abolish IRS Said we'd be able to pay taxes on a postcard
Anno
How romantic.
Anno
haha what
Anno
imats you said you disliked the current system with the irs and feds too right why is that? like why do you think what they do (and what do they do) badly?
Kirara☆
Because the current system taxed me $2000 out of $14000 income I made in 2016 And refused to count my $20,000+ school costs because I'm filing as dependant so that I don't lose my health insurance policy, so the government doesn't fine me $700
Anno
So you don't get to count school costs if you're dependent?
月
Of my income last year, I spent over 10,000 of it taking care of my mother's house payments, debts, and lots of medical things and other expenses i guarantee i'm not allowed to claim her as a dependent and deduct that though
Kirara☆
>>47029 That's right. So it's either pay insane taxes or lose my ability to receive medical treatment.
Anno
Geez, that sucks. Here they're practically begging us to take tax credits from post-secondary education costs. But since none of my siblings or me actually make enough to take advantage of it, we just all pass them on to our parents.
Kirara☆
Yeah our government wants to rob us

You all should just ask them to become Canada.

My only experience with Azumanga Daioh is still the ancient omnibus manga collection. That was published so long ago it was still perfectly normal to substitute localized references and jokes when stuff got too Japanese. But that said, I think they actually did a really good job localizing and making it an enjoyable read. Plus most of the Azumanga-y jokes remained intact.
>>47047 It's my first time through And the voice acting in the sub is very nice
Anno
>>47056 Just because something is a dub doesn't mean it can't have redeeming features. After all even the original Japanese audio is a dub track. Hoh hoh hoh.

According to the wiki, theyve given her a Houston accent i don't hear it but okay >>47059 it wasn't all terrible, but some of it was not tolerable in the slightest
Anno
Must be one of those things that seems horribly wrong if you actually live in the normal culture.
>>47060 Oh yeah, definitely. A lot of it was painful or other annoying features of dubs, like women forcing their voices too hard to fit the original Japanese cutesy-ness. But it definitely had redeeming features, like Osaka's localized accent.
Anno
Which in a way, may have been so refreshing because in doing so, she managed to dodge the aforementioned forced voices.
月
i mean, when was this dubbed back in the 90s or something even wasn't it? early 2000s tops english voice acting was still basically at the // equivalent to american cartoon voice acting we hadn't yet accustomed ourselves to stepping outside that box even if we knew it was a different audience, our best voice actors were still mostly doing that
we've gotten a lot of good voice actors now, with video game voicing being a lot more relevant and serious in theme but somehow our dubs haven't improved much
