You pay for anime? You barely even watch anime
rose-tinted depression
you don't?
it's actually my friend's account
and in defense of crunchyroll, their streaming quality is actually better video than a lot of fansub releases and you don't have to fuck around with codecs
TN !PcAPtAiNJo
I'd get crunch but they aren't "officially" in finland yet, so... nope
for instance, HorribleSubs, which as far as I know is what most of /moe/ uses to watch anime, is actually quite a bit worse quality video than streaming on CR even when you fuck your codecs all the way up
TN !PcAPtAiNJo
Because it is the only group left. well HS is just crunchroll rips anyhow
>>4343 not quite it's not like the files being streamed are nice little encoded mkvs waiting for you to pop into your VLC or MPC-HC or MPlayer or whatever i mean they are but they aren't i don't feel like explaining this too heavily but the end result is that the picture on your screen when you run the downloaded file is actually quite different. the banding and artifacting were especially noticeable for me the last time i watched a horriblesubs encode

TN !PcAPtAiNJo
pre 19th century finland was a money making machine for the swedes, as timber and tar were needed for the big fleets the colonial powers needed and also a good source of fodder for the army post 19th century and into the russian archdukedom era, finland began to modernise and become more of an "Independent state" in terms of governance and commerce, practically being independent in all but name. >>4899 actually
>>4903 but however, despite the increased commerce and no longer being a "colony that only trades with motherland", industrialisation at large scale, just like in rest of the russia, didn't happen untill well into 20th century. So the "you need a watch" part of the 19th century didn't happen here at all. And once we just jumped in a decade or so from agrarian country into industrial society, watches just happened. But I don't think they are treated as nothing else than "time showing tools". Sure every finnish man practically has a watch, but at the same time most finns go through like 10 watches in their life. Museum moving to file for bankruptcy now that would be amusing.
I love how shia and his cronies fail to realise that, behavior like theirs is what divides the nation more than any singular individual becoming president.
Kannagi
They are completely just parroting a phrase. I dislike these kind of movements. There is no real content to them
Kannagi
Oh apparently Jaden Smith appeared at the live cam
Yuu
That sort of thing just ailenates normal people. You gotta be a weirdo to spend your spare time chanting into a camera.

not a brand though. It's just like... another name for coffee, I think
rook
yeah java is just another name for coffee
Koi-
Like "Joe"
TN !PcAPtAiNJo
oooh that explains I just remember at one point in time many murrican shows had "care for java" and then they had coffee I just presumed it was like Hoover or kleenex
>During the 1600s, the Dutch introduced coffee to Southeast Asia. They brought coffee trees to places like Bali and Sumatra, where it’s still grown today. Another island they began planting coffee on was Java, and it’s from this island that the name “java” arose.
>It’s not known specifically known how the term was first used. The Dutch were likely the first to use the name, and they may have used it to refer to single-origin coffee from Java. As the coffee trade grew, though, the term was adopted by more and more people throughout the world, and any specificity was lost. Today, “java” has become a generic term for coffee and no longer refers only to coffee from the Island of Java.
