i figured out what they did with the localization of names in xenoblade anything japanese was removed anything western, no matter how foreign sounding, was retained

It would be kind of nice if localization could do an additional sort of "mid-way" localization, keeping stuff a little closer to the Eastern culture it originates in, for the people that are at least partially familiar with concepts from that region. But that would be a lot of extra work for localization teams that would probably result in negligible increases in units moved.

The hops of satisfaction it does are great. And the other one tries to satisfy itself with the smaller cap-thing before going "fuck this I'm getting my cap back."
It kept getting worse and worse. First, you're being attacked. Which is normal. Then, they're all panicking. Then, killing each other. Then killing themselves. and it's all in a very deeply isolated place. I think the worst part was seeing them in those smaller individual rooms shouting and fighting. At some point, I just made a note to destroy every single corpse I passed by.

I think it turned for the worse emotionally when I killed one that I wasn't trying to. He was being attacked and I was like oh no, save him. And the shockwave went through both of them and they both died at the same time.

Yeah, it's got some good framework. There's still a lot of work that needs to get put into it before I feel it is worth taking out of early access. But the developers have really obviously put in the hard work to establish the game from the ground up, and now it just needs content.
And I trust Klei Entertainment a fair bit with early access projects after how well and dedicated they were to the development of Don't Starve, so I look forward to what they bring.
