I don't really like how imbalanced the two routes are.
Alm gets the most interesting characters but they're not as strong as Celica's characters. Celica's side has access to better equipment and more gold coins, too. But Celica's side is also significantly more difficult than Alm's side.
It'd be nice if they were similar difficulty with similarly strong characters and similar equipment.
It felt kind of strange, Alm's party is like a peasant army going up against an empire and Celica's team is like super awesome soldiers beating up on bandits. I agree that the characters on Alm's side are mostly more appealing. I like Genny, though.
