Gonna create a large structure with dark rooms in many floors going upwards, with a little water funnel that forces them into a drop, then that sends them into an elevator, and lastly drops them down... 21 blocks if I remember correctly, leaving them at 0.5 hearts in a tiny little container where we can just wack them with something I didn't last time, but this time I'm making it over the ocean so it'll be more efficient It uses an absolutely ridiculous amount of wood due to needing a lot of trap doors, so I'll need that, but the rest of the structure can be constructed out of anything, really, so I might just use cobblestone

So with the pandemic winding down, apparently one of the store owners is likely to start making regular appearances back in store and down here in the warehouse By all accounts I've heard he's a real piece of work, being responsible for having pretty much any window in the warehouse that could be bricked or boarded up being so, making this already dingy basement even more of a depressingly sealed off space But the real problem with him returning to the premises is he's got a real thing for having no personal bags in the warehouse space, which is a real nuisance for me because I really like having the convenience of a bag on hand. Now lockers are available, but they're upstairs, only accessible from the basement by using the single elevator that services the entire store, since outside of emergencies, we are forbidden from using the staircases which lead out of the basement (wouldn't be surprised if this is this shithead's doing too). And while lockers are available, locks aren't, so you've got to provide your own if you want to keep valuables in the lockers I bring quite a few things with me to work, and while the only real valuables fit in my pockets, it's kind of hard to juggle the whole affair only in my hands from the locker space down to the basement For the time being I'm gonna see how close I can get to flaunting the rules and bringing down my things in a shopping bag I can scrunch up and hide away once I'm down here, and hopefully that's enough not to draw the ire of this paranoid asshole.

literally "Antanisha J." the driver shown for my delivery just stole my groceries i placed the order again and got my stuff, but it was 7 hours later in the day, i wasted a lot of my day, and some of the tems // items sent on the first delivery were out of stock for the second delivery so i didnt get them and that also tells me that the driver never brought them back
yeah walmart uses a third-party for the driver stuff, so there's lots of fuckups im pretty sure people know they can just do that and get away with it since walmart just refunds the person and (probably) doesn't take any action for stolen items i had left a pretty generous tip for the person too but obviously i removed it after they didnt deliver and i added that tip onto the new delivery driver's tip who was great, brought it fast, right to my apartment door, and was very nice so she got a double tip and probably appreciated that

i bought a bunch of fly paper rolls too i had horrible fly problems for like two weeks idk how they keep getting in but if i dont stay on top of it new ones will come lay eggs again and make it a problem
Flies are such a pain, aren't they? I'm gonna kill every last one of these bastards. Sometimes they land on the flypaper and take a few steps before they finally realize they're doomed and give up. I like to watch them take those few steps. Sometimes they get to the end of the paper and get one or two legs off of it before they have to give up because they'd rip their legs off if they pulled any harder. And then they sit there and paw at the wall the flypaper is on. Fruit flies can live 3-4 days without food, so they probably suffer a long time on the fly paper. The ones in the little apple shaped traps die quickly, though.
Fruit flies can live up to 50 days and they become adults in like 24 hours after being born. They're a real nuisance. Two days after being born, they're ready to mate themselves. So they propagate easily. They can also live in drains and stuff, off of little bits of food that stays in your garbage disposal for example. Bastards.

Well, I still need to actually make the like, place where we kill the mobs, and fill up some water, make an elevator, etc etc But the actual structure is 99% done now
i was at the range today and my scope broke outta nowhere no rough handling or anything factory issue probably i was trying to zero in and it felt like nothing was working and then i noticed a screw on the table i was shooting from and i was like oh shit that's not good luckily it was just from the scope so i put it back in and everything and noticed the crosshair was tilted at a 45 degree angle as my stepdad and i tried to play with it to see what was up one of the pieces of glass inside just fuckin fell forward so we couldnt see shit with it
it sucks though it's mostly a new scope it's still under warranty at least i think
also i got an annoying first degree burn from some spent brass it got stuck in the table under my elbow and i kept brushing it away with my elbow like usual bc i didnt realize it was stuck so it just burned the crap out of my elbow lol
Comrades, I have successfully made the XP farm operational There was an issue with a waterway, took some troubleshooting never, ever, ever, ever crouch while you're looking at the mobs at the killbox btw If there's a creeper in there, it'll blow up cause it can see you if you crouch
If you really want XP, building an Ender Ender or finding something like a dual Blaze spawner is way more efficient than an overworld mob tower The real draw of having an overworld mob grinder is the items, not the experience
The other really good XP farm is a Piglin mob grinder above bedrock in the Nether, although with how they changed the Nether in the previous patch, I dunno if they work how they used to Plus Piglin farms drop gold which can then be used to trade with normal Piglins to get some pretty rare or interesting items
Well if someone wants to go ahead and make such a structure, they're free to do that, but I know how to make this one, and it being in the overworld means I can make my base here
That's the draw of these other XP farms They're so efficient you don't need to have your base near them You drop in for like five minutes and you have either all the levels you need for a hearty bout of enchanting or you've gotten all the XP you need to fill up all your Mending gear
