There's a theater I go to that has intermissions but they only have two bathrooms so the lines are incredibly long.

I don't really think they're necessary, and I can't really fault the cinemas for not running them.
But they couldn't really hurt,
That said there are definitely some movies that could benefit from having one.
Like how Endgame is purportedly THREE (3) hours long.

Right now it's 40 unless a holiday hits, then we might get a day extended.

However, that's not such a big deal considering we get hammered during the holidays. 50 hours mandatory, up to 70 hours optional, and all overtime pay is just double pay.
That lasts a good six weeks, too.
I want to say one of my checks (for two weeks, mind) was $2400, maybe more?

The other nice thing is that there are people who have been hired on and moved up in the chain in what I'd consider pretty generous timeframes.

Depends. I think part of whof what makes the job enjoyable is the hands on with the machines and the interaction with the operators that comescomes with being around them for extended periods of time.
Only one person has done something to piss me off and I don't even have to deal with them! Others have annoyed me through what they didn't do but that's much easier to deal with.

What's weird to me is, why did they let Episode 8 have a different writer than 7 and 9 if they didn't have an overarching story and arcs for the characters that were agreed on beforehand. It's possible they did, but the way they talk in interviews, it seems like they didn't.

I'm honestly pretty worried about a retcon. I think it would really sully episode 8 which I thought was honestly fantastic.

That's pretty much what I'm considering if it does end up in this retcon scenario.
There was an extremely divisive reception to the rather mould-breaking way they wrote about hero idolism in The Last Jedi.
If they were to just say "whoops that didn't work" and go back to the formula I'd be pretty turned off.
Might just give up on the Star Wars series until I hear they're doing something better down the line.

If you aren't ready to accept that not everyone will be happy with your changes, don't do them. Don't just walk them back if it goes badly.
Last Jedi had a really powerful message, which was that it's time to move forward and stop relying on the heroes of old and the wisdom of the ancients. It was saying anyone can become the hero regardless of where they came from.
Those are really good messages and the Star Wars fanbase could learn a lot from them if they'd allow themselves to be open to listening.

You don't make a message like that and then give in and return to the old ways. It's a betrayal of your own art! I would really lose a lot of respect for them.

RobiHachi was really fun and still my favorite first episode, but I liked it in a different way than I love Sarazanmai and C&T.

In other news, I'm trying to get better at using chopsticks, but my fingers always lock up and it's really painful.

Sarazanmai and Carole & Tuesday are definitely the shows that floored me with their pilots.

It's a weird bit of muscle mechanics that you don't get a lot of practice in if you don't use them regularly.

What are Kono and Cin Nine about? I haven't watched those two.

I have loose ligaments. So sometimes my joints don't work quite the way they're supposed to. Just holding the chopsticks properly can be weird because my ring finger keeps locking up and it's painful. I have to set the chopsticks down so I can basically manually relax my finger.
It's not really much of a problem for the rest of my body. In most places it just makes me more flexible, although my knees are a little weak because of it. The only place I really get joints locking up is my fingers, like when I'm carrying something heavy or moving tables and stuff, sometimes they lock up and I have to set things down so I can fix my fingers.

Kono Oto Tomare! is about a club about playing the traditional Japanese instrument the koto.
I was kind of expecting it to be fujobait-y and while it does have elements of that it's more of a shoujo/jousei story and is kind of feel-good-y, though the first half of the episode wouldn't have you thinking that.
Cinderella Nine is a mobage adaptation but as far as the show goes, it seems like a baseball take on the Love Live story, being about a couple of girls that want to put together a girl's baseball team because girls baseball teams are the nation's current big fad.
