I'm workshopping a t-shirt design for Texans. What do you think?
bang
disgusting Ted Cruz won only because of the heavy republican-only voters that make up the entirety of rural Texas (which is still a large number of people) not because people actually like him he had one of the closest elections in decades
Yeah really. I would consider forty dollars in eating out a week egregious. Even then that would only come up to $160 in a month. And that's including all the little things like cheap snacks or coffee/tea.
Koi of Many Browsers
i guess i should eat less
bang
someone play Arena with me I want to cast instants and sorceries
Also $20 for internet? $800 rent in a city you can make $100k? $30 on a maid? in a month??
Koi of Many Browsers

his parents help him pay for everything actually according to the article even though he makes $100k spoiled bourgeois bastards l id like to curb stomp him
I don't think you can get takeout kebabs anywhere around here.
If I mention wanting some, Fish'll probably spend a ton of money on them.
I don't know what I want for dinner, though. It'd be nice if I could go shopping. I could make some beef stew with a concussion, no problem.
月
>>621118 not when it's time saved and you have a high salary getting a morning coffee and bagel and a tuna sandwich for lunch every day from the cafe would go well past that
Anno
Man, I dunno. Maybe I just come from too poor a life fir -for it but twelve bucks a day feels like way too much money to spend on food. Maybe once to thrice a week but regularly? I'd rather just save on places here or there.
月
if yer workin in the city or somethin ya gotta eat though probably dont have to spend as much as some people do i would probably hit up those hot dog vendors or a ramen shop but even then it'll be like seven bucks and in the latter case i'd prolly leave a tip
Anno
I worked in the financial sector for a little under a year though. As far as in the city goes here, that's definitely in the city. I made a point of keeping my weekly spending money to forty dollars and under.
Kirara, the Cat
i mean, if you make $100k a year, and come from a rich family that pays tons of your bills, you might as well spend a lot of money on food

Twitter has a lot of really young people. it can be uncomfortable sometimes
Anno
One of the more worriesome parts of the social Internet is how people realized they couldn't really stop kids from getting onto it. And then all going "well, might as well just ... let them all in".
Koi of Many Browsers
yeah man teenagers scare the living shit out of me
Anno
>>621194 They could care less as long as someone'll bleed
Lately, there are more and more young people that want me to mentor them. There are four or five 16 year olds on Twitter that want me to. I don't really know why. I guess it's because I'm moderately successful.
I don't want to be mean to them, but I hate these kids.
Teens are scary because they have way too much energy and form bonds to you really quickly and your like woah, I barely fucking know you. I can't help be feel too old and adult in places with teens
These kids are like 16 and they want to be epic cool anarchists and stuff. They want me to tell them they should drop out of school or that they should do drugs or whatever. Like I'm just going to tell these stupid kids to do whatever they want as if consequences aren't real.
They try to substitute politics for a personality I think letting kids get too involved in politics is bad because that's what they do. Then they burn themselves out by the time they're 20 because they were stupid kids that thought they could change the world and that the world was just fun and games. They see that people are suffering but they don't really understand it. They just want to fit in.
And then they get all depressed and shit.
But if you say anything to them, they don't get it
I tell them to get some real hobbies that aren't politics, and they're always like, "haha! yeah, i like to make music! because i can do politics with it!" or something like that
I got a DM today from someone asking permission to use one of my tweets as lyrics in a song. I don't typically get inappropriate DMs. I think I've made it clear I'm not interested in that kind of thing.
>>621219 It's not just today! Ever since I started joking around by telling people to confess their unrequited love for me, people have been doing it. I thought saying their feelings would be unrequited would be enough to stop them, but no, somehow it's encouraged them.
Like six people on Twitter have confessed to me since November.
Koi
Yeah of course. That would definitely make them do it. I would do it but my love isnt unrequited <3
This laptop is trash. I dont kknow what that update did but everything is worse and moves slower. Guess im just gonna be a mobile person for a while. I need to get this fucking desk out of here. And everything else too
I really liked the newest Doctor but I felt like the season needed to be a little more fantastical. More space aliens and stuff. Some of the episodes individually were really solid, though.
Anno
I really loved Demons of the Punjab. That episode was really, really good.
The one with the universe with a conscious was interesting, and got REALLY weird by the end of it all.
Kirara, the Cat
Yeah, agreed. The Amazon warehouse one, I felt started strong, but ended pretty weakly. The spider one was decent, too.
Anno
I liked that the girl the guy was crushing on got caught up in the wrong side of his sabotage. But I think they could have seeded that he was the mastermind behind it better. The fact that the "help me" came from the AI was an interesting twist though.
The Witchfinders was a cool set piece but I couldn't really get into the alien side of it. King James was a great performance though.
Kirara, the Cat
King James was side character of the whole season.
>>621232 I think the core cast of the fam are pretty solid. And since the reception to this new Doctor has been solid, maybe the writers will be more adventurous in future series. I heard it'll be a bit of a wait until the new one though. At least we'll be getting a New Years special at least.
They worked the sympathy for him really well. You could tell he really loved Grace. Plus he was a good old fogie to the youthful bounce of the rest of them.
Kirara, the Cat
The biggest issue with companions in New Who has been all the super young ones, in my opinion. Graham is really nice since he's old.
Anno
I liked the bookends of Tim Shaw too. Though it would have been even cooler if there had been more subtle Stenza references throughout the season. Aside from the one in The Ghost Monument.
Kirara, the Cat
Yeah, I thought they'd be building up to it with that, but I dunno. Maybe they will do something with it still.
Koi
I need to do better than this dirt pit somehow. Finally past probation and I'm sitting in a nice spot but I dont wanna stay.

Kirara, the Cat
pull furniture out of homes people get evicted from and sell it before the landlord can although nyc probably doesn't have 3 day eviction so maybe that won't work as well there
Kirara, the Cat
i accidentally got involved in drug trafficking once that was pretty good money i stopped real quick though
and ofc my favourite the cop "steal legally" thing
!C0.PerkELE
yea remember when I mentioned cops seizxing nazi flags from neonazies during their rally? THAT got an investment into it as "using too much force" that is how in check out boys in blues are kept
Kirara, the Cat
blue, just marry into wealth
!C0.PerkELE
I remember when similiar thing happened few years back druing mayday rallies and they siezed some "flags" from anarchist protestors too one of them was just a baseball bat with a flag tied to it
!C0.PerkELE
ofc that too resulted in an investigation did the cops go beyond their rights
!C0.PerkELE
sometimes things get real silly, though like this one time a cop had to shoot a knife assaulter, who was busy stabbing someone to deathi n the leg. and that resulted in grievous injuryf or the guy resulted in a long investigation to figure out was "shooting three times at a perperator using too much force" shooting non lethally btw it is bit silly, and costs money ofc, but atleast cops can't be nilly willy with their actions here. and at thesametime, we don't have the joke of a cop force say sweden or uk has
!C0.PerkELE
but about all countries have weird priorities in criminal punishment economic and drug crimes having way harsher punishments than they should some small time economic that is but then when you are some big wig and do a huge fraud, you mgiht get out with some small slap on the wrist like embezzling etc

well economy I kinda get from a statesman view point but being harsh to drugs I believe comes mostly out of some moral busybody pov

dmc3 in 4s engine would be nice it's a lot less buggy
!C0.PerkELE
yeah dmc3 had a faster playstyle though
!C0.PerkELE
dmc4 felt bit slow and kinda... clunyk to how dmc3 was just so fucking "input speed 200000 per second"
Anno
dante felt good enough but nero always felt so strange to me i didn't really like the devil bringer >>621314 ex act was really awesome though true it felt damn good to unleash revved combos >>621316 i was always a fan of the coyote dmc3 i just used the regular guns though
!C0.PerkELE
nero's best part was his chargable gun, though it dealt SO MUCH DMG
!C0.PerkELE
and dting while grabbing enemies, and spamming those swords for xtra dmg
!C0.PerkELE
I never btw usea ny other guns on dante save for ebony and ivory they just in my opinion are the best all arounders good dmg good suppression so quick to fire and so quick to stop firing
all other weapons just seem so slow
!C0.PerkELE
>>621313 the shotgun? it is good, but it has that long wind down on the animation
Anno
>>621317 yeah i usually used to finish a combo or if i could jc the lag with enemy step a lot of times I'll forget to use the guns too so some burst damage i can throw in every now and then it's welcome
!C0.PerkELE
the bazooka is best in terms of "just hit once" so if I wanted to deal dmg, I'd pick that over shotgun
pandora in dmc4 was awesome to play with but damn impractical
!C0.PerkELE
also gunslinger makes pistols so good especially the "downwards spiral" a quick switch to it midair can bring great rewards
Anno
>>621319 i only ever used Pandora to deal with those lightning bastards you probably know the ones
!C0.PerkELE
I think that was dmc4s biggest issue msot mobs were damn boring and then the ones that were challenging were just infuriating like the scarecrows... you just didn't feel good beating them up compared to the reapers in dmc3
!C0.PerkELE
whateven foes were there ice guys lightning guys the shitty knights the stronger knights scarecrows abc parasites big scarecrows
!C0.PerkELE
and then the annoying as fuck shadow creeps, that were damn annoying to deal as dante, because you didn't have grab
!C0.PerkELE
DmC had fun enemy variety, but the "you need to use red to kill thse blue to these" was just so damn artificial dificulty thing DmC had too easy and kinda meh bosses though
Anno
>>621324 yeah i was about to add those other than that uhh i think that's all really
oh wait the fire dogs and those plant things that are basically scarecrows thats all i got
!C0.PerkELE
the most annoying ones were the parasite+scarecrows cause it just FORCED you to shoot at them and the hitboxes on those were just shit preventing the latching was just complete bullshit
Anno
man DMC4 really suffered from being half of a fucking game I hope they learned their lesson that playing the same levels as another character isn't fun content this time
!C0.PerkELE
indeed
!C0.PerkELE
especially when half the opponents with nero had you go "wish I had trickster" and half the opponents with dante had you go "wish I had grab" cause that is how pretty much they were designed
Anno
ping pong perkele ping pong perkele
!C0.PerkELE
btw going back to mgr why was that game otherwise so easy, untill you got to ARMSTRONG?
and armstrong only was really difficult because I dunno if it was just me reading timings wrong or ps3 version having some issue with hitbox but about 50/50 one this grab move I could dodge it by jumping but about half time senator badass just grabbed me from the air
but my real issue were the last phase quick action cuts i just can't do that kind of precision on a controller joystick I don't play that much consoles took me way too many tries to get thosecuts right
!C0.PerkELE
it was a fun fight, but it just annoyed me that so huge part of it relayed on the cutting mechanic demanding you precision cuts a thing the game hadn't had that much, or if had, had as an OPTION but not necessity
Maria
>>621337 Yeah the fight itself isn't actually that hard His long range attacks are pretty easy to avoid if you just keep running and his parry timing is pretty simple But if you messup once on the precision cuts then you have to start the whole fight over
!C0.PerkELE
>>621339 by the time I killed him I nearly did it as perfect run since I had all his hitboxes, timings and shit memorised
!C0.PerkELE
>>621339 I had to actually switch controllers to do it
!C0.PerkELE
I am actually down to ONE controller 2 shockwaves, 1 ds3 type 1 and 1 ds3 type 2 and only one shockwave 1 remaining the original "controller 2" that I got with the consoleall thew ay back in 2007 the least used controller
Maria
I've been using the same ps2 controller for around 14 years
But really, if you don't start the game on hardest difficulty available, given of course some games where you aren't ment or designed to do before having atleast once completed the game, what are you doing?
Anno
>>621345 trying to avoid bad difficulty level design like damage sponge enemies i guess
ggames just lose their charm when the computer enemy just cheats plain cheats there are stats there arenumbers there are previous experience stuff but at some times despite you knowing that X should happen, due to stats, numbers and so on something completely different happens why? because AI cheats
at times it fucking feels that total war games are "playerh as stats, AI has dice"
!C0.PerkELE
dice that is "at bad rolls do stats, at good rolls do dice"
!C0.PerkELE
I don't just get it in some fights spear infantry do so well at just holding the enemy and in others 30 secs go by and they are killed to the last man not routed 100% killed and the enemy unit SINGLE unit engaged with them has maybe 10% losses
and in others 5 minutes later you have 30% losses and enemy unit is routed
and CONDITIONS are the same same amount of experience same amount of other bonus shit but just sometimes the Ai just decides apparently that "I am going to win this time around, so lol fuck you" and then you just can't win
good game design
!C0.PerkELE
not to mention >enemy archer shoots 90 arrows >90 guys protected by woods dies >shoot 500 arrows at said 90 guys >30 dudes die >my guys have better exp, stats and training >still get about 90% miss rate
and when it is a strategy game where previously with worse quality troops same strategy worked on same quality enemy but now with BETTER quality troops on still same quality enemy it fails
it's like playing rock paper scissors and previously rock kept beating scissors but now rock loses to scissors and when you play paper rock also beats paper
!C0.PerkELE
so now from that shittily designed game from lazy developers
to dark souls
!C0.PerkELE
How do you dodge black shit bolts that you can't dodge, because when you see them flying towards you circle doesn't work pressing roll doesn't do shit and you take the hit
sooo how do I dodge these guys 1000 hitting magic bolts?
you can dodge them but it is pretty fast try to serpentine them I think that tends to work though there's a narrow bridge at some point.

also the enemies here have WAY too many immortal frames
now that i got some fucking chain-flail spear head miniboss that was FUN
normal enemty with normal hitboxes with normal like challenges no challenges that come from "oh that bolt is about to hit and this is where you would roll to dodge it, well roll does nothing have fun" or "hey we have a jump, a lunge and a dash attack, that have full immortal hitboxes, also when we dodge it is 100% full time duration immortalty"

!C0.PerkELE
I spent 2 humanities +1 to get human on the initial entrance post Arcturius because I had hardship there because I thought, well maybe I should for once follow ton's advice
and all it led to me was "I went through that region with 3 estus spent" 3/15
ToN
ALSO ITS A BIGGER WASTE OF HUMANITY TO USE IT FOR ONE HEAL WHEN YOU CAN EARN FIVE ESTUS FROM IT THATS BASIC MATH YOU MONGOLOID
!C0.PerkELE
I know but what if you NEVER again use that bonfire?
ToN
what are the odds that you are never going to use a bonfire more than once
!C0.PerkELE
well the odds that I have gone through on most bosses on first or third try with about 5 eastuses used at max because most boses don't give you that many estus uses anyhow
!C0.PerkELE
and unless it is a warp bonfire why would you?
ToN
because it lets me have more heals to progress with and lets me use the humanity thats otherwise sitting in my inventory
on another note there are no further bonfires in that area until you beat the boss so good luck
!C0.PerkELE

I went to a Christmas theme park today. I wasn't super keen but its one of the famous attractions of this town and the reason a lot of people travel here to visit and I'm living here for several months so I thought I should at least check it out.
Maybe I'm glad I went just so now I know what it was about but I left pretty quickly and it was like 36 euros to get through admission
They did a good job with it - think of like a santa themed disney world - except it was all in a cave underground.
But it was meant for like, really little kids. Like 10 and under. Go figure.

i mean the guy with the longest win streak of any player in any smash game said he's the best at least and the other top players that ranked the fighters also put them in the highest tier with like Chrom and Richter and Pikachu seems like a pretty consistent opinion
i can't seem to beat people as easily with inkling though maybe I'm just bad too
She tapped me on the shoulder and was like "may I look at your smoked gouda?" so i just smiled and said sure and then she was asking me if it was good so i said it was my favorite, and she was like, "I'm going to go get some, too!" and she ran off to the cheese section
I did actually run into a few people I knew from classes who were working at the Christmas Land. They had to dress up in the full elf getup. Pointed shoes. Little hats. Blush on their cheeks.
It was kind of funny.
But the money must be pretty decent. So I'm sure they come out ahead.
I actually remember seeing a flyer on campus advertising the job and I thought about it for a moment. It would have been a pretty unique experience.
But then I thought they probably wouldn't hire me since I only speak one language, and they want people who speak Spanish and French and German an' stuff on top of English. Coupled with the fact that I don't have a European bank account.
But then the other Australian who was here on exchange did get hired. So maybe I could have done it. Now I'll never know. LIFE IS FULL OF REGRETS.

fuck man I should have been nicer to my guy from the Finnish Friend program. He seemed like such a nice person who was genuinely interested in showing a visitor around and helping them learn about his country.

Maybe the connection in the first place wasn't such a bad thing I'm just responsible for not handling it better.
when I first got to this town I was BRIMMING WITH OPTIMISM I signed up for a whole bunch of extra-curricular activities. Introduced myself to everyone else around me. Did my best to remember names . Went to all the advertised social events I could.

I've never played wow but a lot MMOs bore me really quickly. I can't keep playing them I guess because I'm playing solo all the time. I was trying to play guild wars all solo and do those gates things but blue told me you can't solo those. which sucks.
I find something about MMOs really appealing. Maybe the fact that a lot of them don't take a whole lot of skill and it's all about just grinding and investing time. And the fact that it's open world and there's always something to do or to level up. And you can sink a whole lot of time into characters and make them great.
But in a world of finite time it's not how I'd want to devote hundreds or thousands of hours of my life.
Marsh-chan
and then I fuckin waste the time anyway so I may have well have been playing an MMO.
Kirara, the Cat
I've never gotten into MMOs. Except for DFO.
Maria
MMOs always bore me The combat isn't fun, the story usually isn't great, and the quests usually aren't engaging
When I quit OSRS after a couple of months of really obsessive playing I was an obnoxious weeaboo about it. I went down to a low level area near Lumbridge and said something like >who has the best taste in cute anime girls and one idiot was like >Sailor Moon and that was the only response so I gave him all the gold I'd saved up which was like 7mil
MMOs come close to being very satisfying for me but always fall short. I want the feeling of being a resident in an online world. Most of them are just theme parks though.
Maria
anime always makes mmos look way more socially engaging than they actually are in my experience
i just don't understand how people are so bad at existing even simple things that you can learn from other people or by observing characters in movies and tv shows, people have so much trouble with it's so weird to me
I can understand not knowing how to have hobbies, I think exposing yourself to different things opens up your worldview. I got really narrow and unable to make good habits. I have a lot of empathy for feeling trapped I think in the end you have to do something nothing anyone says is going to do anything unless you do something yourself.
i think the process under which someone can find hobbies is pretty obvious i dunno i guess my baseline of functioning is higher than others and i tend to have difficulty understanding the difficulties that come with a loser baseline
I don't know if anyone has difficulty finding a hobby rather probably have problems making a hobby a habit or opening themselves to things. I dunno. I think age and exposure do a lot plus personal motivation. I'm not easily motivated and It took me a while to find things I really enjoy.
>>621670 it sounds dumb but it's a very good question Even though the answer is as simple as "just try shit", people need to know that they gotta just try shit

And even then it gets deeper then that, because you start finding out other things about yourself like if you get obsessive over things or if you're the exact opposite and you drop things a lot and suddenly having a hobby in itself becomes a difficulty in some way.

A lot of people are so used to some authority telling them how to live their lives. Finding things that you enjoy and learning to maintain those hobbies through good habits is part of living life. I don't think other people can bequeth you a hobby and you are done.
I don't mind being a role model. I'm not a very good one, though.
People on left Twitter are twisted. They think a lot of faults and failings are good things. They see someone with better mental health than them and just fall in love. They want to be the people they love.
>>>/@kzabrekker/1075859869108985859 >I am Koi and love Koi but Koi also loves Kokoro which makes her my youkai gf Haven't reached "this is my daughter" stage yet.
Sounds like you need assistance. And I'm gonna tell you something you already know. You're not alone over there.

>>621654 idk if you're here anymore but i was skimming thru and got some nostalgic feels from this haha when i quit for the first time i just went to lumby and found some newbie killing goblins and gave him some gear and tips and shit then after an hr or so he asked if we could be friends and i was like nah b I'm quitting want my gold? he said k and i gave him like 80 mil then he said wtf?? and i logged for GOOD
I should prevent // disable dms. I get a lot of dms that are either awkward, shitty or lewd. Twitter puts you in contact with al // a lot of unhealthy people.
DMs are rarely a good thing for me. Sometimes twitter is fun, I find out new anime/manga stuff from my anime/manga follows and some interesting politics from my recent anarchist follows. but most of my feed can be depressing.

I don't get them either but I've only posted photos twice and they've both been deleted in 24h'
it doesn't matter what i think because it's important to her and i will inevitably give in to her desires so we compromised

Speaking of Christmas music, I woke up from my nap with the unfortunate realization that I have Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" stuck in my head. As is miserable tradition.
>TWO DISC PIZUYA'S CELL ALBUM THIS COMIKET >IT'S TOUHOU SONGS REDONE // ARRANGED BY PIZUYA'S CELL BUT THEY'RE ALSO DONE IN THE STYLE OF PERSONA 5 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Anno
Doesn't that just mean done in the style of the Persona series' music composer? The Persona 5 tracks aren't a huge departure from their usual style.
"glorious smashers" >wonder how good these people are >first chance as challenger i get 3 stocked by an ike in 2 minutes and change ok ill go back to my scrub arenas

How terrifying. People who are -that- good at fighting games are some kind of superhuman.
Anno
yeah it really makes me astonished to fight against really good players it looks so much different when it's a high level player vs high level player, you don't really experience that oppressive feeling
Marsh-chan
they're all inscription.

Some kind of critter I think gets into the empty space underneath the under-sink cabinets in my kitchen. Like not even in the actual cabinets, unless it's really good at hiding from me looking for it. But it gets in somewhere and makes a fair bit of noise and at first it's kind of spooky, especially when I'm home alone. After that dies off though it's just annoying like shut the fuck up you little shit.
Dunno if we have any. It's 05:30 in the morning anyway I'm not gonna go rooting around looking in places I don't know where we'd keep traps or poison in at this hour.
I woke up at reasonable hour today. I get too caught up in dreaming
Maria
I would like to wake up at an unreasonable hour but my body will force me to wake up around 7 no matter how late I go to bed It annoys me
>>621946 Yeah it's cool VR anime How does a vr animation work though Do they let you look around the scene yourself? Is it from one of the characters sets of eyes?
Holy shit, what. There is Spice and Wolf VR thing https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1681674066/the-vr-animation-spice-and-wolf-vr-production-proj?ref=discovery >>621945 I generally auto-wake up in 7 hours but I can just fall back asleep easily.
I don't have headset but it does kinda sound interesting.

Despite all the technology, you'll forever just be hover handing your 2d waifu and paying ebucks/gems to get to them to say your name or shake their hands.,

>>621951 this is also basically the plot of The Matrix.
>>621977 Damn. Whose fault was it? Maybe it's a wrong thing to ask, but are you still with that girl? Please realise, I have been away from these places.
>>621981 I'm mostly active on Twitter and /moe/ now. I don't really use Discord very much anymore. I'm usually around here, though. My name on Discord is matts☆#0825, though.
I only posted here to talk to you, because you did things for me in the past, and I really appreciate that. Apart from that, not sure. I've been warmly welcomed bakc at the other place, but I don't know anyone here apart from you. I really just wanted to see how you are, that's the truth of it.
>>621988 Haha, no, I haven't done that for a few years now. I just have a Twitter where I talk about psychology and anarchy and whatever's on my mind. I've made some cool friends there. I have more than 1200 followers, now.
Jan's still got the good posts! Even if folks don't remember you immediately, I'm sure they will if you stick around for a little bit.
Anno
>>621990 I loved the way you were talking to me when I was about psychology. It was reassuring and not so intrusive. Are you still with the FBI?
He has the best posts. He is like that dog, the best boy, doing good things for you. I love me some Jan! Apart from that, I wasn't very known on this site, I don't think. Maybe Rika would recognise me or that... hmm what was his name, Aussie guy with a cheeky attitude. Perhaps ToN. But yeah, I'm really just a nobody when it comes to it.
>>621991 No, I don't work with them anymore. I work as a clinical psychologist now. Mostly with substance abuse, at the moment.
Hmm, cheeky Australian could be Marsh or Beta, depending on how far back you got here originally. I don't remember if you met Beta or not. Nobody's a nobody, though.
Anno
>>621992 Substance abuse... I may need help with that haha How are you though? Last time we talked you had it rough with whiskey and stuffs.
I know of Beta. But they guy wasn't a mod here. Damn, I can' tremember his name, he was friends with Device back in the day.
>>621993 As of New Year's day, I'll be sober 2 years. From alcohol, at least.
Beta was friends with Dvice. Our other Australians are Rene and Marsh, but I'm not sure if they were close to Dvice. Dvice still pops up every once in a while, by the way.
Anno
>>621994 Good on you! Glad to hear that. As of new years, I'm like the defintion of alcolic lol It must be so better with someone around you, and someone you have to care for.
Rene, I'm familiar with, but there was this guy, god damn it, he was notorius about being mean to people, and hung around with Beta and was friends with Device. He played EU4 if that helps.
Anno
>boss calls me while I'm asleep trying to ask me to come in early >call him back to say I was asleep >he says I sleep too much and also asks me to come in early on Sunday from now on hnng >>621995 >Notoriously mean isn't that just regular Australian behavior? it could be anyone!
wait, with eu4 it makes me think it's Sugoi. He's addicted to WoW now, he doesn't love us anymore.
>>621999 yeah I'll show his ass up all the way to the unemployment office. except they will just laugh at me there when I say I got fired for sleeping on the job. >>622002 Well at least it's not the hard stuff I suppose. I find it pretty difficult to get drunk off of normal beer myself. I just drink the cheap malt liquor that's 8%, but it tastes so bad. I really want some good Gin but not sure if I want to go back down that road by now.
Anno
>>622003 I have beer until stacks up to make me pretty drunk. Heavy stuff makes me pretty stupid. Like very stupid. Beer is like "ok, that's passable, I can pretend I didn't say that", but man, heavy stuff. I want to erase myself.
>>622010 Yeah, it is. I can't do things that need long-term investments. I can't do basic human interactions. It would be very difficult to have a pet to care for.
Anno
do you have a spark saved up for pig i am going to hold unless i get a bunch of free rolls during legfest
I think you should really consider it! It's not good to destroy yourself. Self-destruction might look attractive, but it's just a long and painful process.
Anno
>>622027 But the day I go without is so hard. I'm feeling a lot of things, amd it's just not nice generally. My anxiety cranks up to 100. Drinking makes me calm and collected, funny as it is. I can argue with you about a lot of things when drunk, or feel actual things, but as sober, I'm as stiff as a piece of wood.
>>622028 That's because you don't know how to function without booze anymore. At rehab, they'll help you with all that. They'll teach you coping skills and how to be more personable, and how to feel.
Anno
>>622029 I don't think I can do that anymoe. I feel like a lost cause, and I'm probably am. I appreciate what you are telling me, but it's lost on me. I enjoy being drunk, I enjoy the occasional hang over, it all just feels nice. I think I 'am tthe functional state, being able to work and exist with my disease. I love getting drunk, and I wouldn't trade it for anything else.
>>622042 oh yeah I easily could. in fact, I'm banking on places having 4G and wifi because otherwise I am going to get LOST
but part of the reason I want to do this travel is to get some time to think and have some disconnection so I'll do my best not to be constantly distracting myself with internet stuff.
Anno
Well, don't die then. Enough of that has happened.
i got sent a 50% off email promo for marco's it says $10 maximum savings but they implemented it backwards on the site and it works like $10 minimum savings it won't even apply until it's at least $10 savings, and seems to have no upper limit...
Kirara, the Cat
haha wtf that's so broken

yeah haha i wish i had more money i'd get a bunch i should really do grocery shopping instead but if it's 50% off an entire thing then i think it's ok
it's two 12-inch subberoos on wheat (of course, nonwhite) a huge family size salad which is like four salads some cinammon square desserts (single butter not triple) and some other shit i forget

did /moe/ finish gridman yet the last episode was amazing oh man that fight that insert song
It was pretty great, yeah. I loved the last bit at the end too. It was a neat twist that out a -put a neat spin on the episode and series overall.
Kirara, the Cat
am i the only one that does the access flash pose every time they do it in the show
Anno
Only one on /moe/? Probably. I definitely got caught up in the spirit of things during this final episode though. And maybe in more recent episodes too.
I didn't think what I did yesterday was that much. but apparently my body did and now I'm pretty sore I came home and slept really quickly woke up a few hours only because my mom knocked on my door
Anno
>>622072 It's one of my all-time absolute favourites. I hope she enjoys it.
You two could also watch The Night Is Short, Walk On Girl afterwards. Though it is kind of ... alcohol-y.
she's pretty much lived a rose colored life after all

>>622084 Isn't it just about valuing what you have and reaching out to take chances or did I miss it

im not saying it's super deep or anything im just saying that fish couldn't relate to the feelings of any of the characters she didn't get it
