Well I think it's fine for there to be casual Pokémon games, but I like the ones that have in the past been more complex and challenging than others. That's just the kind of thing that draws me to games. If Let's Go is well-received and Game Freak wants to do a separate series with its particulars, that could be really neat. I went to my group meeting today. we had briefly mentioned Haruki Murakami when we first suggested our topic for a group presentation. So I did a lot of research, got all my books, found different ways of doing presentation like cultural and literary. I packed my bag full of books and my laptop it was really heavy so I had to get a taxi up the hill.
Then when we were all together, I explained what I had done and they said it was too broad and not controversial enough for a presentation since the last one was about the death penalty.
It's a bit fustrating that they took like 10 seconds to decide they don't want to do Haruki Murakami when they chose it. so we had 2pm to 4pm booked in the room at the uni library. we ended up deciding - gun control in america is a controvesial enough topic. I wanted then for us to pick out the article we were going to use today after all we had 2 hours to get it done out of the way but they wanted to go away and each us to individual find our articles. and then they left. we barely even used the first hour and we just have a topic and nothing else.
I know the Haruki Murakami thing was really quick suggestion but I'm a little ... I guess disappointed - I had some fun ideas.

Yeah. I think they considered it too niche and academic. they were clearly disinterested. I mean I don't blame them. Japanese literature is my interest. and I they picked murakami rather quickly at the end of a lecture. I even had a little white board with all the ideas I had for easy access.
To get something like "we need something controversial" feels a bit, I don't know. Its not really important, I can find articles and have ideas about gun control in the US. we have till 12th of Dec to get it done, so some time.

pasta >Nikujaga was invented by chefs of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the late 19th century.[1] The story that Tōgō Heihachirō ordered naval cooks to create a version of the beef stews served in the British Royal Navy was devised as part of an ongoing campaign beginning in 1895 to promote the city of Maizuru, Kyoto, which hosted an Imperial Japanese Navy base where Tōgō was stationed, as the birthplace of nikujaga.[4] The municipal government of Kure, Hiroshima, responded in 1998 with a competing claim that Tōgō commissioned the dish while serving as chief of staff of the Kure naval base.[5]
