Okay so I've been getting a lot of calls from random numbers that just hang up 2 seconds after I answer the phone and they've all been from like, random states in USA Now some number from illinois just texted me asking "Who's number

>>60157 for more organized things, there's usually a division of labor, believe it or not there are people who survey an area for opportunity and risk hours or days prior, those who burgle, those who dispose of the goods, and so forth the reason i had an AR15 in saint louis was usually for the first issue you'd get people creeping about at like 2 or 3 AM who weren't going to break in, but definitely were surveying the area not that there was anything to steal, but it LOOKED like a fancy house
fire a couple rounds off and they get the hint that there's someone watchful and armed there and not worth their time
Sometimes I get random calls/messages from urban youths who have the wrong number. One night tanisha spammed me with angry message for half an hour for stealing her man before she finally said "sorry wrong number".
The biggest issue I've encountered is people not dialing 1 before calling an out-of-state number for instance, if they dial 222-333-4444 for out of state and your number is 222-3334 and they're IN the same area code as you it directs to your phone instead of the out of state number because you're both in the same area code i always ask wrong numbers what number they dialed, and tell them to put the 1 at the start
Anno
My biggest fear right now is that I got this text from someone who got a call from my number without me calling them Or if somehow me replying is gonna end up with me having my identity stolen
Anno
>Who's number is this? >Uh, my name is anno. Who are you? >That's wild. I'm convinced somebody is out to kill me
I'll only answer the calls if they call twice in a row like immediately after once in a while somebody lost their phone and is calling from a friend's phone, or something like that
Anno
I don't like answering unknown phone numbers, but I always worry that it's actually something important from some important organization Maybe it was somebody calling to tell me that I'm late on a payment of something and my credit score is dying but I'll never know now because I didn't answer Or some administrator from my college, or somebody replying to my job application so I always answer

If you know someone can have a seizure, and you send them something that might cause them to have a seizure, and then they have a seizure, I'm pretty sure you're guilty of trying to harm them
I don't know how it's sketchy in the slightest. >Say you have epilepsy >People send things that can trigger seizures with the express intent of doing so

But some people do awful things in awful ways so here we are. It better be an open and shut case.
I just fear it sets, as aI said before, some form of precedents. This seems like a clear cut case, but what about when someone just says "this guy caused me harm with a tweet/dm/whatever" Is not like people havn't already been arrested for false charges when you are guilty of wrongthink. So now a private message online, with police being able to track that down and nap you.
I am paranoid about this stuff, but there is a good reason for this paranoia
False charges is a different story. If it's the wrong guy altogether, then it's bad. If something like that causes harm, then there'd probably also require criminal intent. And there's no case that doesn't set a precedent so something will come out of it in either direction.

meat for human consumption i suppose, the article foesn't really go into detail, but quality certificates have been falsified for their products to china, eu and india for years now it seems
Kirara☆
why would they bribe politicans to let them sell rotten meat in an industry that rotten meat was fine?
It's probably harder to ship it across the water when rotten
八十八
>>60771 i'd imagine a case where there were policies in place preventing the packaging and distribution of contaminated or decomposed meats on a blanket level so there may be an industry where rotten meat was fine, but that was an unmet need as basically nobody's allowed to supply it and that would be less of a bribe and more of a lobbying
but you know, that's why i ask these kinds of questions i see vagueness and i'm curious
八十八
you never really know what the information they're extrapolating from is it could be >money was paid, rotten meat is being shipped. it's bribery. it could be a very rigorous investigation but given how superfluous information is in this age, credibility really does have to be earned, i think i don't assume credibility just because it's published though i'll read it now
