I've often used five or six pots when cooking on six-burner ranges yeah, what TN just said i've usually got one caramelizing the onions, and one mixing things i need to mix in later, like the tomato or curry broths and then if i'm cooking mashed potatoes or veggies on the side, or if i'm making a dish that's not one big curry pot but like prawns that are cooked in garlic, and the curry goes over them at the end -- when they're already served and on the plate i'd never need it just cooking for myself though.

my 7th grade homeroom teacher was MISTER MOSS some dingy old motherfucker as the name would imply he used to complain about how he lost $2,000 in the stock market some years back and he was the history teacher. Both for history and homeroom we had assigned seating, and strangely enough every cheerleader was assigned to the front row Now, since i was a degenerate and actively ignored tests , especially for history, i had lots of time to look around and not pay attention to the test, and we had a thing where the cheerleaders would be wearing their cheerleading outfit throughout the day for whatever reason. i wasn't a cheerleader so i didnt know how that worked, but on game days, all cheerleaders were in outfit all day long and this man's eyes for the whole hour-long test were up the skirts of the first row and i wasn't the only one that noticed it the cheerleaders did too nobody felt threatened, but he was creepy as hell. in retrospect as adults, it makes sense to report that, but back then for young teenage girls it didn't seem as awful as it is i guess

I mean the gymnastics involved are generally super rudimentary, but I'm the end -in the end it is the only way gymnasts of their skill level are ever going to perform in front of a crowd. The same way most high schoolers will only ever compete in football in front of a crowd.
I don't know what it was like at a private school, but at my public school -- or at least in high school, after i moved out of the shitty place i lived before -- the cheerleader group was actually pretty nice i had some friends in there, they were kind people and wanted to make people happy and promote that school spirit, and usually helped encourage other students there's that image in mind though of how the cheerleader group is this cliquey group of bitches, but i saw very little of that a few of them were, but most of them were actually pretty nice to me personally

Next you're going to tell me school-hosted plays are a waste of time and money. As are any school sports team.

My school also hosted yearly battle of the bands and biyearly talent shows. Sure the actual content wasn't amazing, but providing a stage for aspiring talent can work wonders for helping them understand exactly where they stand. And occasionally you got that one band or one kid who makes you think "oh shit this is actually really good."

I had a dream that dinosaurs were attacking and I escaped them. I was going to a safehouse and the government made everyone go there but wouldn't tell anyone about the dinosaurs, so I got mad and was going to tell everyone.
