I always wondered how exactly the mining thing worked out but I think I brained it out you scout locations with high valuable mining locations and for your trouble, you are given a prepaid share of the amount they expect to get from there long term basically "look for minerals, you get % share on finding it" and each time they make port, they are transferred them by some cerb operative.
It sure would be great if Spain got fucked up by a hurricane while Catalonia was independencing.
Maria
Just wait for the waves of frogs
Yuu
Wow, that's a weird hurricane.
Maria
>>302721 >it sure would be great if a lot of people got hit by a hurricane and died and had their houses destroyed Yeah Would be Fantastic
Kirara
>>302724 People don't generally die in hurricanes. They have low body counts. Moreover, the people of Spain are walking around doing Nazi salutes right now so it might not be bad if they got punished for their shit. Catalonia would benefit from the disarray greatly.
>>302726 It's Spanish culture, honestly. Spain's government from WWII until a few years ago was set up by Nazis and run by Nazis. Actual Nazis or Nazi sympathizers. The Spaniards have a long history of being terribly racist and especially hateful towards the Catalans, who they've attempted to ethnically cleanse once or twice.
Kirara
People in Spain that are talking out against the treatment of the Catalans are actually getting fined.
Maria
Wow I didn't realise Spain was THAT shitty
Kirara
For reference, when Spain's leaders went on TV to say that the Catalan referendum was illegal, they did it in front of a paining of /// painting of a Spanish leader that tried to genocide the Catalans.

if the getting into heaven bit is too hard for R&D to innovate then maybe some free church gifts at certain threshholds instead like a small lamb figurine to make a tiny nativity scene

you could give it like a 90% chance of saying the person got into heaven after they die that might be funny

You could have a gift shop in the church, but if you repent enough times, you get enough points that you can get like, a decent discount People will buy them at full price just to have them so they can tell friends they used their points to buy them at a discount!

There's a costume in the shop and there's probably going to // you can probably get the other one once the event updates on the 15th or so. There's folk datamining and stuff so stuff gets leaked a bit.
Event is not very interesting except for Sakura in granblue.
>>303173 I'll work on it this weekend. Just getting the costume doesn't seem too hard.
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
Despite it being a stick, this is the only SSR dark EX weapon that can be FLB, but that might be a bit too much effort. Plus you're low on sleep so be sure to fix that first.
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
translation: This is the only dark weapon with that special bonus modifier that can go to level 150 and get its skill level to 15 instead of the usual 10. However whenever Xeno Diablo happens there will be what is hopefully a much better dark ex weapon like that.
When you think about it though, Granblue is 80% or so grinding weapons.
Kirara
Yeah, it's a real shame.
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
Just think If you autism like me for a year, which isn't saying as much because damn are some of my crew crazy, you can have a grid of each element going. Isn't that amazing?
Kirara
Love to spend a year suffering in a phone game so that I can finally play the phone game.
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
I broke a long time ago, it would seem. Sometimes I get bored though.
Kirara
As soon as a game becomes an obligation, all value in it is lost to me.
Yuu
You can do the events without grinding the weapons though. So why do it? The only thing you get for grinding weapons is the ability to grind your weapons more.
I think grinding weapons is a bad design philosophy anyway. I will grind my characters until they are strong out of love. I can't love weapons though. It's just some sword, who cares?
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
Do your best, Rika
Kirara
>>303188 Granblue is really poorly designed in general. So much of it isn't fun at all. There's no strategy and teambuilding isn't difficult as long as you have the characters. And there are only so many ways you can build your weapons because the game is geared towards a single playstyle.
Yuu
>>303189 I take it easy in Granblue and have no intention of doing any more than that. I spend 50% effort in Kancolle, and 65% effort in Fire Emblem.
>>303190 Yeah, it just seems to be about grinding weapons in certain ways.
Koi-
>these people need that thing by tomorrow every time they're gonna be so disappointed
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
>>303190 Ubaha HL actually forces some people to adapt to more defensive playstyle. You need like 25k HP for it.
Kirara
>>303193 Great. Can't wait to not have fun with interesting gameplay so I can grind out an entirely new grid of weapons so that I can meet the requirements of a single mission.
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
To be fair, it is the hardest fight in the game. ONce you're strong enough to attempt it you probably have the time to spare to make a different style of grid.
Kirara
Oh, so you have to spend inordinate amounts of time and pain to get to the end game before you get to try something other than damage racing.
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
To be fair, this fight was probably made for those kinds of people who have already done that or are willing to do so.
Yuu
I'm not really knocking granblue, I think it appeals to certain types of players. I like management and I'm lazy about grinding though. A game where I don't have lots of choices just isn't my speed.
Kirara
None of that is just "to be fair" It's basically an agreement that there's only one way to play the game
I think the new Atma weapons kind of encourage experimentation or trying to have fun. They beef up your characters so long as they're a specific weapon specialty.
Kirara
But you still have to damage race or you can't compete in order to get the things you need. So in the end, the design of the game still forces you into that playstyle.
Yuu
Choices that you have to grind really hard for aren't really meaningful choices. Experimentation is punished because if you grind for a long time for something that turns out crappy, that sucks.
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
>>303202 They're trying to offset damage racing now. Ubaha HL encourages everyone to cooperate and not damage race, and that applies to other raids too in that now every player up through 6th place has a chance of a red "mvp" chest which opens up your drop options a little.
Kirara
The end game doesn't really matter when it comes to complaints about the game.
Even if it's just the top 6 players have a chance to get something, that's still damage racing. If you're weak, you're still fucked until RNG favors you. You can't get strong without pure luck. You can't overcome weakness with GUTS or love in GBF either.
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
I'm trying to make a meme for fun. I'm using sword atma to try and make a sword team in dark. I'm thinking of going as far as to make Ascalon, the Swordmaster class weapon.
Speaking of that, they greatly reduces // reduced some pain for the tier 4 unlock by reducing the weapon stones on your first/next class weapon from 768 to 200. That's way easier to accomplish
Koi-
I've done nothing and I'm really tired
Kirara
They could fix the game by having high drop rates on the basic weapons that you need to build a grid. Then even if you only get into the placement that gives you a chance to get a weapon through luck, you don't have to deal with a 0.5% chance or whatever of getting that weapon. The chance should be at least 50% for the weapons you can barely play without.
Damage racing wouldn't be a problem if everyone could do it.
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
I feel if they were that high it would encourage a massive power creep in terms of adding new weapons to grind for in their stead. But higher rates would be nice.
Kirara
Well, yeah, they'd have to have proper weapon tiers in that case.
Ideally, they should get rid of damage racing, though. In fact, weaker players should be the ones getting drops.
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
I would like a newer pvp than guild wars which is just "who can grind the most autistically"
I don't know how long they had it but in some story events players are given a buff based on how long their rank is so they can participate a little easier.
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
that doesn't really solve the problem of drop rates though, I'm just mentioning it.
Yuu
I think I may train up my Sophia soon. She is supposedly very good for baiting horse Lyn. I may just do Female Robin instead though, since she can bait both Lyn and Reinhardt.
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
what's she got that helps against horse lyn?
Yuu
Sophia? She's anti-colorless and tanky.
Kirara
She can be made anti-colorless. She isn't naturally anti-colorless. raven comes from Henry.
My Sophia has every breaker she can learn and I just switch through them depending on the situation.
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
>>303215 I hadn't taken a look at her stuff is why I asked. That's neat.
TalesofNukes !5cY5Lovers
oh you have to use raven? I have henry for that but the feather cost is expensive. I think I was going to give that to Lilina but hadn't gotten around to it
Yuu
Oh, I didn't know you had to put anti-colorless on her. Either way, that's still a pretty good setup. I'm thinking about building that kind of sophia.
Elise is good but she can't bait horse lyn. And horse lyn is EVERYWHERE
Kirara
>>303218 henry is one of the worst units in the game
>>303219 I've been adovating for Sophia forever so I'm glad to see you coming around. I even 5*'d a Henry for her.
Kirara
I also put Hardy Bearing on her during PvP. So that she doesn't fall victim to Cancel Affinity.
Yuu
I was thinking about making her anti-colorless and giving her quick riposte 2 for arena shenanigans.
Kirara
>>303222 You shouldn't. Her speed is abysmally low. QR will never activiate.
Yuu
I don't think speed matters for QR. You automatically make the followup if you are above a certain HP level. That's why it's good for Hector, he has it built into his weapon.
Kirara
Oh, I was thinking of Desperation.
Either way, I don't think Quick Riposte is good. You NEED bowbreaker for Arena if you're going to bait Lyns.
Yuu
I guess bowbreaker won't stop the second hit.
I will probably make her kinda soon.
I also want to make a triangle adept Female Robin though. She will remove horses pretty well.
Kirara
Bowbreaker is important because it lets you hit Lyn twice without getting hit twice.
With that build, basically no archer can damage her. And she also fucks with green units well.
Sophia won't kill Lyn without bowbreaker.
Yuu
Yeah, she has good res so she would be able to beat up Julia. Julia can be a pest.
Kirara
Yeah. Sophia is really versatile if you're willing to invest in different breakers for her. I also have seal res on her to use sometimes.
Koi-
...is this for Defense?
Kirara
I don't use Sophia for Defense, no.
Kirara
I'm working on a Hawkeye for defense though. I'm going to 5* him this weekend and then put Legion's axe on him. He'll have atk ploy and legion's axe.
Koi-
I miss my Atk Ploy/Legion's Axe+ Sheena
Yuu
>>303230 Like for putting in my defense team? No. I use tricky units for defense that are likely to cause people problems. Dancers and vantage stuff mostly.
Kirara
Inigo is really good. I'd love to grab a PA Azura or Olivia though.
Yuu
The PA banner is making me crazy. So far I've been getting off-banner units. I got -atk +def Hector and another Amelia with IVs worse than the one I have already.
Kirara
the dream
Kirara
not quite as fun as saizo with that setup though
Koi-
>Deflect Magic 3 what the fuck >>303240 FUCK Lyn. DEFLECT MAGIC
Kirara
You can also get Deflect Missile which makes Lyn less dangerous too.
Koi-
I know you guys have had problems with Lyn, but those problems have never been mine. Eldigan, Brave Ike, and Matthew have always been very good at keeping her quiet.
Kirara
I wouldn't say I have problems with her. If I had a dedicated team, I wouldn't have any problems whatsoever.
I like to do all kinds of different teams, and Lyn is dangerous to most teams. I could easily put together a team with no weaknesses, but I like to do interesting teams and I never stick with one team for more than a week or two.
Koi-
Then again, maybe I'll have problems with Lyn now that I'm trash.
Koi-
oh yeah, you guys find Arena fun on the offensive
Yuu
I wouldn't say problems with Lyn as much as every team needs an answer to Lyn. If you aren't prepared for her she'll show up and ruin your fun.
Koi-
Perhaps that's a thing to think about now that Arena Assault is actually important.
Kirara
Yeah. Arena Assault is pretty easy once you have enough characters, though.
Koi-
but like... dealing with physical characters has always been a thing. >>303247 lol how wonderful :|
Yuu
Arena assault gives me a good bit of diversity in the teams it matches me against.
In normal arena, every team is just meta units, and horse lyn is in most of them. The CYL banner really decreased the number of different units you see by quite a bit.
Koi-
Because they made the mistake of making strong metabusters! that you can't move the metabusting part from. Incidentally those are the least interesting parts of those characters.
KiraraKoi-
Yeah, see, this shit? That's dumb
Yuu
I see black knight a lot too, but summer robin pops him like a zit.
Kirara
black knight is pretty much not scary at all
Koi-
Black Knight is red and unlike his Tempest Trial counterpart is not incredibly bulky vs magic So you just hit him with some blue shit But this This is me being mean
Koi-
Yeah, you can add wrath or whatever kind of whatever. The point: Urvan and Deflect Magic BETTER NOT BE ABLE TO STACK
KiraraKoi-
Better yet? Give him Guard
Koi-
...oh OH
Kirara

Sounds like it. Apparently they wanted someone specific for this task because it's too difficult to entrust to the workers from the temp agency. Which kind of bewilders me but whatever. Green eyes are really beautiful. sometimes Top tier eyes for staring into like a creep or a lover

coincidentally are red eyes real aside from some weird conditions like albinism?
Continuing on metaphysics it is just amusing , since it was just "book written after book on physics" basically just a philosophy book of aristoteles', but later scholars thought it ment "book about things beyond physics" and thus metaphysics came to mean that but it literally was that after physics

Yuu

The conversation with the duty officer was still fucking amusing >hey priest, have you turned into satan worshipping? >uhh, no why? >go take a look at the mirror >30 secs later >WHAT THE FUCK
Yuu
>>303331 No. While eyes aren't as simple as dominant/recessive like you'd seen in flies, that sort of thing does play a role. Strange colored eyes are harder to inherit because the genes that make them up are recessive compared to the genes for brown eyes. So being closely related to people with brown eyes means you will probably have brown eyes.
There is some leeway though, so someone like Fish's dad probably has genes for different colored eyes mixed in with him and that's why he was able to produce a child with green eyes.

>>303342 Can't is a strong word because eyes are more complex than just being a simple dominant/recessive thing. It's true that two red eyed flies can't produce a baby fly without red eyes. But the genes that go into human eyes are a bit more complex than that.
TN !PcAPtAiNJo
>>303342 based on older misinformed knowledge about genetics basically two brown eyes can have a blue/green eyed kid the "recessive" genes can just chance and pop up again like tht
basically quite similiar how inherited genetical diseases work not every person in the family gets them, but every once in a while bam it pops up again
It wasn't even 100 years ago or so, when the top genetists believed that blue eyed people would be extinct by now
Anno
I saw a girl with an interesting eye the other day.

i mean brown + blue can have green even with old school genetics dad's grandfather = Br/Br // er dads father* dad's mother = Bl/Bl offspring pulls Br/Bl no matter what and is Br Mom's dad G/Bl Mom's mom Bl/Bl mom is G/Bl Bl/Bl, Bl/Bl Bl/Bl then the offspring of mom can have Br/Bl versus any four of mom's options and wind up G/Bl and have green eyes
and that's the really old school genetics that that botanist found out in the 1700s
Kirara
I never realized how little I knew about genetics. I guess I'll have to study up a bit.

TN !PcAPtAiNJo
most likely especially with europeans and european descendant americans you can end up with wild hair and eye colours that don't match the parents, because of sudden ancestral genes popping up
Yuu
>>303357 Well, that is true. Eyes are complex but black and asian parents are usually full of brown eye genes and can't produce blue eyed people unless something else is going on there.
the teach had a hmm I guess 1/3rd of his eye being a different shade not something you'd notice normally from afar, but upclose it was clear it wasn't the same brown the rest was i think it was somekind of greenishbrown slice but it has been forever since then so I don't remember proper

Kirara
the people that talk about the world being a simulation are operating under the premise that "none of this is real because it is simulated" yes, simulations are real. that's not relevant to how most people view the theory
TN !PcAPtAiNJo
And more over if we live in a simulation that you can't tell the difference between genuine and not or we are programmed so we can't ever prove it one way or another what is the point then thinking about it? the simulation is then our universe and that is that
