And neither is states disco music famous here. finns, afterall, listen first to finnish music and then to foreign music. >>2177 which one lives here?
Anno
i will completely deny that, as disco hits from the american 70s are actually factually statistically some of the most played music around the globe huge influence all over the world, russia, china, europe changed the face of music with the invention of the mixer and concepts like overdubs its more likely that Kirka uses a lot of these pioneered concepts in his music

Diary, December 14th, 1986. I dreamed about Bob last night. Not a real nice dream at all, a little sick in my opinion because I have so much hatred for the way he spoiled me. Made me feel ugly and bad for wanting love or affection. He ruined all of my pride and self-esteem for the longest time. I could only be pretty and sweet, because pretty and sweet was easy. Good grades even better. No one wanted me. I wouldn't even let on that I knew what sex was. He did ruin me, didn't he? I mean, in the dream the came to the window at Leo's and saw me. It was a nastier scene in the dream than it was last night in reality. He kept showing this image of me again and again, and then he was standing by the tree and he said, "You wouldn't have been able to do any of that if it weren't for me."
I told him he was wrong. I told him I learned all that hew saw when I was alone, so that I could do something to make myself feel good and be able to heal the wounds that he made. He said, "Oh yeah, then why do you want Leo to tie you up, maybe eat you that way, make you a slave..? I know you want it. Just the way I taught you, little bitch. I saw you with the wand, playing with yourself. You were thinking of bad-boy Leo, not Bobby-Little-Boy who weeps after he gets fucked by a little slut like you."
In 2015 Touno was charged with tax evasion for reportedly violating the Corporate Tax Law. Reports claim that Touno: "allegedly failed to file 120 million yen (around US$996,438) in royalties from the printed versions of his MAOYU and Log Horizon novels for his income tax report in a three-year period ending last year. According to the prosecutor's office, Touno owes the Japanese government 30 million yen (around US$249,114) in taxes."[2] Some time after, the author apologized to his fans and stated in his official website that he filed and paid back his taxes, concluding the investigation.[3]
>>2896 Dunno how taxation is handled in nippon, but I can guess he really wasn't the type to ///I can bet he was the type that thought "this is net income" or "I don't need to do anything" As I bet normal publication "salary" to authors in japan, is already taxed by the company, so it is reasonable to think that an author might be mistaken that royalty income is also already taxed by the facilities paying it to him. Is actually a curious question how do royalties work when you are a globally sold author of any kind. In funlandia, I believe the publishing company pays the royalties and files the taxes for the authors "working" for them, but how does it go when the author's work is sold in an other country by another distributer?

I was just talking about how Mamare got arrested for tax evasion with my friends yesterday. How weird.
But yeah it just kind of feels like it was a mistake of incompetence on his part. After all, he did become pretty financially well off kind of all of a sudden, and he did seem like a bit of a hapless dork aside from being a now-successful writer in the visits he did to /a/.
In murrica it is in a way simple since it always is "you do your taxes" but when you have a system that varies, it becomes a mess when you insert irregular incomes and modern ways of achieving wealth like youtube whoring.
TN !PcAPtAiNJo
For example, you could be a streamer and collect quite vast sums of money through donations, and not pay a sinlge bloody cent in taxes, unless no single person pays you over 4k€ in less than 3 years. But if you say make a 4-5 /5 figure sum in a year, the tax bear will attack you eventually.
I think most finnish internet earners have founded a small company to handle their income. Easiest way to do it afterall.
Anno
But a lot of streamers now have subscriptions, which I imagine, pay out through Twitch officially. That aspect of it probably needs to be taxed.
ToN
I've heard that people making enough money through streaming and videos actually do have to factor it into their taxes now
>>2903 Yeah, youtube and twitch income is now proper income, like working as a freelancer anything. I wonder do they have any co-operation with finnish tax office or plans to do so.
Finnish taxation in my limited understanding in nutshell Your employer informs the tax office of your brutto income the tax office applies the corresponding tax percent level to you, say you make 40k a year, it would be somehting like 30% or shit then they deduce social security fees, pensions, health care and so on from your wage which is additional few percents then if you are member of evangelic lutheran church of finland or orthodox church of finland, they deduce 1% of your income as church taxes and the remaining sum is your net income
the 1 "ansiotulot" income, is your income 1st being wages, 2nd pensions, 3rd benefits or welfare and 4th is other income for example dividends or rent income the 2nd slot is the total amount of taxation they will implement on you and your tax % rate for the year and 3rd slot is deductions from the taxation amount, basically distance benefits, //fuck I can't read 3rd slot is the amount of social security fees taken after /as part of the taxes then 3,5 onwards is deductions from the taxation amount, basically travel distance benefits and whatnots tha you can apply for.
The process is quite simple, at the beginning of each tax year they calculate how much they think you will earn this year, based on your past income, current income and data gathered over the years on similiar cases and then apply the tax+other fees as needed. And at about march-april axis, they send you the document in picture, where they inform of the decision and rates, upon which you have around a month's time to make correction, whether to lower or increase your tax rate or change any of the deductions or benefits. Then at around august to september they will send you a second tax document, where they notify you have you either paid too much or too little, resulting in tax refund paid directly to you in the beginning of december or post a half a year time limit for you to pay more taxes before charging you for tax evasion.
Basically, if you are a
TN !PcAPtAiNJo
basically if you are a normal citizen with no distance deductions or irregular income, you don't ever need to do jackshit about taxation.
Oh and, the state pays a basic interest on the refund, while if you have to pay additional taxes you don't need to pay any interest for it. So basically, if you need extra income for about 6 months or shit, you can switch your tax level to a lower bracket and earn more, and then pay the fines at the end of the year with no extra costs. I don't know of any famous cases of people doing this, but it is soemthing you can do legally A free loan fro mthe state.
OK well I conched out for like 2 hours, but that's fine I was going for an hour and a half, so that's not that bad

>>2987 Im going to give you one big piece of advice and say dont do that literally, notsoanonymous from tano did this, spreadsheeting out an album a day with the goal of listening to one album a day and documenting experience while it was a great idea and i gave him a lot of input on it, you'd be way better-served by just having a conversation with him, me, or jan about music than starting that whole venture off yourself

>>2989 I really meant using the spreadsheet to help myself organize my thoughts, but okay.

>>2990 I didn't think singapore did all you can eat they're probably not going to again after your visit today

>>2991 Would they really be more organized in a spreadsheet? To me, putting personal thoughts in a spreadsheet is so disconnected it's like trying to separate it and incubate it so it can be presented as a whole, but internally, that "whole" never happens. It's a slippery slope that never feels ready to unveil to the world It's better, i think, to internally organize by just having the conversations where appropriate the brain is a way better organizer of information based on relevance than a spreadsheet

>>2992 No doubt. I feel like I put back on all the weight I lost in the mountains in one sitting
>>2994 I used to live by an all-you-can-eat mongolian grill you take a bowl, go up and get your meats, veggies, other things (eggs, mushrooms, whatever) and then you're supposed to add the sauces on top, which is another aisle i would // oh yeah, and then the noodle base too I would have to use two bowls -- one for noodles + meats, and one for veggies, and then i'd grab a third bowl of just sauces and bring it up to the grill i'd typically grab three eggs, bean sprouts, soba noodles, green beans, and some mustard curry sauce and a few sweet chili sauce ladels all amounting, mind you, three bowls that i'd be bringing to the grill
that was my standard first dish. I'd usually do between four to six more dishes, depending on how stressed out or depressed i was I averaged about 8 bowls (ending bowls, after cooked, which are larger than the bowls you're supposed to put your ingredients on) per visit
the nice part is that it was franchised and they couldn't care less i love eating 7200 calories in the middle of the day and then going home and taking a nap

>>2994 In the past 7 months I've gained 45 pounds and lost about 15. So net gain of 30.

>>2995 That sounds incredible. >>2996 I'm sure it was all lean muscle mass.
>>2997 come visit the US i'll take you to this place it is truly amazing their curry sauces are shit by my standards, but their sense of appeasement is amazing and a few added spices and you can make it great on your own
the beef-green bean-sprout-mustard combo was my signature first dish. it usually weighed around a kilo. I'd usually follow up with some other variants i enjoyed, like the pad thai noodles with seafoods, and the more vinegary sauces, lots of cilantro and then one that was all chicken and eggs and rice, with super super hot sauce. That would be a normal end to the meal, because the spiciness of their seven chili sauce and habanero sauces usually constrict the stomach a bit
but i'm drinking about three glasses of water per dish as is, which is crucial after that, I'd usually do one pure plate of shrimp and veggies (shrimps are so much protein for so little room in the belly) and then another first-plate special, usually half-sized (roughly 1.5x what a normal size would be)

>>2997 I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not. Partially because you (and much of /moe/) don't know me that well. Anyways its not, the weight gain is mainly because of changes in medicines. My diet and exercise (or lack thereof) have not changed much in the past seven months. It is almost certainly all fat, i can tell because I have a bit of a potbelly now.
Meh, I have a hting *thing I need to have done by tomorrow and i have the document open but have not done any of it. I am however now sitting up in front of my computer rather than laying on my side since I am typing something, so I guess thats progress of some sort.
It's good I like it. Apparently one of the guys from it is considering running for Canada's PM. I guess businessmen going into politics is in vogue now.

The world sure is interesting lately. This reminds me that an English court ruled Parliament had to approve Brexit. Theresa May seems like she's been really preparing for it though. What a waste it'll be if Parliament says no Brexit.
>>3042 >>3043 I think the EU is moving forward with the EU army too, which the UK is opposed too so that may help them make their decision to go through with Brexit.
If Brexit goes through and the UK aligns itself more closely with the US, and the EU does the EU army thing and federalizes, that means 1984 will have more or less predicted the political disposition for the future! That's kind of meat and also somewhat terrifying.
>>3061 It's not like I'm keeping it a secret or anything, nobody had actually asked about the details so I didn't give them. In fact your little pen pal was just asking if she could tell you a little bit ago! My devices are being authorized for use in restricted environments.

I once went fishing and caught something and a older fisherguy came up and said I had a super strong rock salmon on the line and I would have to let it go. Everyone else thought he was just comforting me for probably catching a boot stuck in mud. I will believe I caught a real strong fish.

>>3075 I don't have a lot of fishing experience When I was a kid, I thought bait was icky to put on the hook haha I don't mind it now but I don't have much time for fishing
I did it once as a child. I never used live bait. I mostly got really pretty fishing flys I kept a box of the nicest looking, I don't think I used most of them.

I usually don't remember to eat but for a couple of months now I've been eating just for pleasure. I think it is one of the unhealthy ways I've been dealing with stress. The other being smoking.
Oh, I've also been looking up Congress bills. That was a good chunk of time. We're really ridiculous. >>3096 Eating because I want to eat helps with stress. but often times my stress is what keeps me from eating. Saying I shouldn't be doing it because it takes time away from being productive. The two unhealthy sections of my life are currently at war keeping my diet improperly balanced but at least it is erring on the side of weight loss.
>>3098 That is kinda interesting, since that is the situation for me and sleeping. I don't like to sleep but I also like sleeping. I feel like sleeping is a huge waste of time but if I don't sleep I fall apart.
At times, I just walk around the house when I'm actually walking into the kitchen and then I walk in circles just talking to myself and having an imaginary argument until I realize that I've spent about 10 minutes pacing around and then I get a drink of ginger ale and sit back down.
