yeah that was my job before this one there was that kickup in 2014 or 2015 where rules were put in place where so much published media had to be deaf-accessible, so all sorts of content started coming through that needed closed captioning (not subtitles) most of what i worked on during that time were online courses, like lynda.com and stuff like that, but various youtube channels also who were affiliated, some university stuff -- there was a lot of church stuff that needed CC to be aired on cable television but i'm not about that not that ive got something against church but it's a difficult job to CC.
let's see, rarer jobs i did -- i once CC'ed a snoop dogg concert. I really question why deaf people are watching a snoop dogg concert but whatever there were a lot of strange foreign sites that would air US-made television shows, but would do it off-kilter and do like 14 minute episodes instead of 22 minutes, then make 12 episodes into 18? i'm guessing this was to bypass some strange law but it was really weird once in a while porn movies would come through to be CC'ed, but it was kind of funny because, according to the FCC standards, every word would have to be transcribed. i never did one like that, but according to the people that did, during the sex scenes it would just be pretty awful every time they said "Fuck yes, uh, fuck yeah" etc it would need a speaker tag to show who was talking and what they were saying i thought that was pretty funny

the US military is planing on transitioning to using the SIG Saeur P320 by like 2020 i think
FBI uses glock generally they use glock 22s and glock 23s if i remember right although FBI special agents are able to request permission to use a firearm they prefer for their daily carry and can have their handguns customized

I've never seen a tornado, but the area up near my cottage is prime tornado country during the summer. Or parts of it. Thankfully lakeside cottages get the natural protection of the lake and they've never come near me. But I've seen a lot of tornado wreckage.
Growing up I lived on a hill that would split all the bad storms. So one day one came and it spawned a tornado that broke some stuff in town, it was cool to watch. The thing would light up as it ran over power lines and caused transformers to explode. The other one I saw at night so you could only see it when the lightning flashed.
The third one I kind of saw hit my school, so it went right past the building I was in and destroyed a building down the way that was under construction. It was too close though, all you could see outside was dusty grey air. There was like zero visability. That one almost got me though, I had been looking out some glass double doors trying to see what was going on out there. Three or more er three or so minutes after I stepped away from the doors, the air did a vacuum sucky thing that pulled them open. If I'd been standing there at that time, I might have been sucked out!

What's really weird about them is how they pick up things and put them back down. I was talking with my mom about some storms that came through recently and it turns out in the next county over some tornadoes came through and one picked up some horses and threw them down in another field. I was like "oh no" but it turns out it put them down gently enough that they weren't injured so I was worrying for nothing. You hear that kind of thing with cows all the time but I was surprised it was gentle enough for horses. Horses are really delicate and cows are built like tanks.

There's an old urban myth I've heard of that had a tornado pick up dozens and dozens of eggs, only to lay them down, unbroken, ways away. I strongly doubt that would actually happen, but tornados -but the myth of tornadoes being gentle with what they pick up does have some grounding in truth.

The way they did the lines is kind of crappy so at some points the text might fill up too much of the screen but at least the font is readable with that. I'm too lazy to go and break up lines and stuff.
I liked it when it was an amusing source of autism. It seems that they've made it a lot worse both in terms of its value as a production and as a source of autism by trying to crack down on the autism. It also seems that speedrunners are particularly prone to becoming transsexuals, as an aside.
If it takes a long time for good subs to come out next week too, I'll just take the subs and release them as styled subs and give credit to anon. If I do that, I'll fix the timing, too.
