it didnt snow this year in my city very strange times have changed usually we get a few token days of snow

I think I'm making good time in this cdda run I've got like 1000 nato rounds plus whatever's currently in my mags, an M4A1 with an acog scope, and good personal defense gear and the zombos aren't even particularly evolved yet granted I've burned through like 200 rounds already, but as I get better with rifles, I'll use less ammunition per zombo cause I'll hit better There's a dairy farm with NO zombified cows right below me too, which is insanely good stuff, even if I'm allergic to dairy, cause... I mean, I'm not allergic to meat and fried meat is incredibly good calories I think this is the actual run Now I just need books, and a more sustainable or large ammo supply

gonna have to test out the like 15 grenades I've got stockpiled later, too I threw one earlier as far as I could, and caught shrapnel to my torso, my ears went deaf for like 5 full minutes, and the area of direct straight up fire was like 5 tiles in radius so I think that ought to be real good against the zombos, should attract them from all around too, so I better bring a handful probably gonna bring a shotgun or something real loud at night, fire off a shot or two, get some distance, and then throw it in there when there's a lotta heat signatures I wonder if it will completely obliterate their gear that'd be unfortunate, but an acceptable sacrifice

well, it took 8x30 rounds and 4 grenades (they're not as good for crowd control as I imagined, because you usually end up hitting the middle \\\ you end up NOT hitting the middle, but whichever zombie is in front, diminishing the effect drastically) But I learned something quite useful: grenades deafen me, yes, but I can wear ear protection. However, it deafens the ZOMBIES too! given the ammo for it, a viable tactic is to chuck a nade in to deal with a cluster of them, and then start spraying while their ears are COMPLETELY blown out. Done in the dark, they have no recourse Though, as is always the case with zombies, always ensure you have an escape route in case things get dicey
yeah they've got all the same sense as when they were alive, aside from pain I guess they're really, really dumb though, so you can easily idle them by getting into an area with a lot of pits and sharp scrap metal, they'll cut themselves to ribbon and fall in holes and stuff
also, it turns out 1K rounds is NOT going to fucking cut it, cause this "town" nearby me is actually a fucking city, and cdda cities are genuine fucking cities
pretty much all of this is the city, and it likely extends farther I'm in that little tentpatch up to the top right there I gotta get myself to a damn hardware store so I can upgrade this GUN man and also I need more ammo, obviously
besides upgrading my m4a1, I also really gotta fix this katana before it breaks entirely it's seen a lot of action, and I didn't start out proficient in ninjutsu, so it's taken a bit of a beating from improper use I did not realize that was gonna matter, but apparently being good at ninjutsu means a sword lasts longer, cause you don't keep using it wrong a neat detail for whatever reason I'm more easily detected by zombies on this character, too. Not sure why that is, but it's fine, I've got 900 rounds left in storage and 8 full mags on me, I can cope

also nu tech has been revealed to me in cdda I placed a stereo system in my base\living room (it's a very small base) and by keeping it on while I work, my focus is greatly improved I just leave it on at all times, and use earplugs when I go to bed, similar to how I put on a blindfold when I go to bed and just leave the lights on. They don't draw enough power to be a problem, and it'd be annoying to go turn them on and off all the time
