I like Zelda so far but the English voices get really, -really- stiff at times.

I guess it's not really an affront for me. I think having a developed Hylian language would be really cool, but considering the developments here, I can't imagine an oral language is high on their priorities for the Zelda world.
It's also far from a completely voiced game, the voiced lines are reserved for some niche moments--mostly main plot cinematics.
But it's still a disappointment that a lot of the English lines feel kind of clunky.

Oh yeah there was a fan theory I heard way back that the Rito were actually descendants of the Zora, turned into birds to make up for the fact that pretty much all of Hyrule becomes salt water in the Wind Waker.
There aren't any Zora in The Wind Waker, aside from the spirit of one who's a previous Sage--who's role gets filled by a Rito.
There's a similar parallel between the other living sage, a Korok, and a Kokri spirit--both Korok and Kokri seem to be parented by the Great Deku Tree.
I personally thought it was a really neat theory but the fact that both species co-exist in Breath of the Wild kind of cans the theory in the end.

Most of the other characters look pretty good, especially the non-Hylian races. I actually think they all look amazing.
But Link and Zelda feel kind of ridiculous.

Link has been really anime for awhile though.
He's been anime since the hardware was good enough to have that level of detail.

I think there is a severe difference between how he looked in Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, and this though.

I'm of two opinions on it.
I like the characters in the games like Twilight Princess and whatnot, but Breath of the Wild has hit a really, REALLY good colour scheme for environmental design.
It probably wouldn't be impossible to merge the design concepts together in way that would work, really, but I wonder if they'd do it.

A link to the past is the greatest zelda of all time.
Majora's Mask is the second best, and the best of the 3D games.

There's a lot of praiseworthy aspects of the N64 games but it's hard for me to revisit them and enjoy them in the same way I did when I was first discovering them.
Graphics have become a considerable part of how I process storytelling in games like these, and there's a certain way that the graphics of the N64 Zelda have not aged well.

Though even despite that, there's still a lot of the mechanics of those games I regret them not keeping around.
I still dream of a new Zelda game with a musical instrument as a core game mechanic.

Majora's Mask never really creeped me out.
When I was first playing Ocarina of Time, a lot of the game monsters were kind of creepy to me, but by the time Majora's Mask came around I was pretty desensitized to them.
There also wasn't a particularly significant change in the environment design for the N64 games so it wasn't like Majora's Mask was a fresh experience there either.

Gamecube controller is just fine for me.

DS2 is okay i guess for the time
compared to the other options (xbox HUEG and GCN pad) it's alright
DS3 is basically the same shit but with worse triggers
and it's incredibly inferior to the other options at the time (360 pad and wii/nunchuk/whatever accessor)
but they really hit a home run with the dualshock 4
it's probably the best controller i've ever had the pleasure of holding combining all the best parts of the 360 pad with less retarded triggers and symmetrical analog sticks AND a larger controller for my big ass piano player hands

The Switch controllers attached to the tablet actually feels pretty nice to me.
I'd probably get indents in my palms if I played long enough, but nothing really feels uncomfortable with it.
The controller frame you get with the system is really comfortable for me though.

once you get enough characters of a particular element that's a good idea.
You'll basically farm the omega bosses for weapons of that element.
Specifically Tiamat Guns, Colo Staves, Leviathan Daggers, Ygg Swords, Celeste Claws and Axes, and Chev Guns and Swords.
Also with renown points you can purchase 2 of each of these per month should you have the points.
So that helps.
