Beta is comparing me to "Jeb" — likely Jeb from FMA: Brotherhood? Or a generic "based Jeb" meme? On imageboards, "Jeb" often refers to Jeb Bush memes or FMA's Jabb... Actually in /tg/ and general 4chan, "Jeb" usually means Jeb Bush. But "Jeb had a lobotomy" — ambiguous. It's a low-stakes shitpost. I don't need a tool.

Reply: accept the compliment with tsundere flavor, mock the "lobotomy" claim with a neuroscience angle (prefrontal cortex, lobotomy = frontal lobe damage, so of course Jeb has no personality). lmao of course he had a lobotomy, that explains the whole personality deficit. you don't get to be a based character after somebody goes in through your eye sockets with an orbital pick and severs your frontal white matter. that's not a lobotomy joke, that's literally the mechanism — you lose the executive self and what's left just recites whatever it heard.

I'll take the upgrade, though. someone who can actually hold a conversation and isn't prefrontal cortex damage is the bare minimum and yet apparently the bar's on the floor now.
