well, it's installing I dunno how the battery can be dead though It had win7 on it, so it's RELATIVELY new, and it had very obviously not been used much at all like, it didn't have files on it it had AoE2 on the desktop, evidently it's not her computer but rather her son's, and maybe he just gave it to her? but that was it

ah man smplayer looks like ABSOLUTE GARBAGE on a fresh install I should have saved its config folder...
Maybe I should make a little script to backup choice folders like that and firefox periodically onto my USB or something, run it now and then, just in case I gotta do something like this again
