i liked the way they did service actually you order at the bar and take a little wifi puck with you so they know where you are and they don't advertise themselves as a tapas style place or mention the more sampling-style of eating but everyone gets their own plate and all the food comes out on their own trays so it's up to the guests to divy things out and it's easier for everyone to get a taste of multiple dishes

It wasn't very shouty or anything, but you're generally right about that It was backed up enough to satisfy me, though at least. Like it wasn't just "this episode bad, many plot holes", it was more like "None of these characters... have traits, at all, outside specific contexts" and "This 13th iteration of the doctor is an incredible deviation from the previous ones all the way back to the beginning." and it was a video so it peppered in clips and stuff to demonstrate it. Didn't even really comment much on plot holes or retcons beyond the Doctor's personality changing drastically in this iteration, and even that took a background spot to the main point that even on its own, this new Doctor's character is... just awful

They give regular new aesthetic blocks and components for creative designers, introduce new systems and mechanics for those who like the details of the game, develop new pieces for the engineers to use as functional components, and create new biomes, landmarks, creatures, and other visual aspects for people who want to adventure and see the world the game generates.
And this is all like, personal stuff. For a lot of people, the main attraction is just how easy it is to engage in a social environment that is more than just talking in a voice or text chat, using the game. You can build meeting spaces to move around in (as digital avatars, sure, but it's still more elaborate than just your voice or text messages), create activities to compete or play together, or just exist in a space as friends. It's akin to the draw that RP-heavy games like Second Life have for people, it gives a place to have a community
My stance has always been it's as deep as you want it to be Want to run around for half an hour in a newly created world and then get bored and forget about the game for five months? Want to spend five hours a day building your dream base over the course of nine weeks? Want to design automated systems to farm for you all the possible materials that can be obtained through such methods? Want to have a simple cube of wood for a house and a small plot of land to grow crops on so you don't starve? All these things are things you can do in the game and they're all equally viable ways to play Minecraft.

i don't agree that making only beef is optimal, if we wanna get down to it the time you spend on beef would be faster spent on chickens which give you more xp per minute with the chicken as a free byproduct just becasue the beef is technically slightly better than chicken, you're wasting so much time
I guess the XP you get from chickens and sheep is a good incentive, but nobody actually like, eats anything other than beef after a few hours of setting up the base, because you do crank out beef at such a speed you couldn't possibly consume even all of that It's just kinda annoying that the only reason to produce the various vegetables and stuff is for its own sake
Some mods change it pretty significantly, making it useful to eat a variety of foods, rather than just shuffling around which food item is The Best

you gotta understand that there's people out there (in fact the vast majority strictly by number) that don't want to worry about mods in any way or fashion now if the mod you're talking about requires literally zero effort from players than _maybe_ it's fine but if it does then it's absolutely not worth
It's an entirely server-side mod, at least as far as I know, yeah It just changes some stuff around and makes it actively beneficial to eat more than one or two types of food, conferring some bonuses and stuff, or optionally giving you debuffs for not eating a varied diet It just makes there be like, a mechanical reason to have a selection of food you're producing, and at least personally I need that sorta stuff to care about it and the "cooking"
Like I'd happily join in either way, but small, relatively unintrusive mods that just sorta, add mechanics that expand what there's a reason to do are nice, I think I generally don't like mods in games that dramatically alter how everything is, but I really enjoy mods that alter small stuff, or make stuff more engaging by giving previously unimportant stuff a mechanical reason to exist

Not really, unless you're playing with a lot of people online Mobcap doesn't dictate the frequency of spawning, and most good mobfarms are about getting spawned mobs to a killing chamber as quickly as possible What really improves mobfarm efficiency is removing all potential spawn places in the chunks you're keeping loaded around you.
I was playing with one other person, and it really screwed up my mobfarm Granted it wasn't the most optimal mobfarm ever built, but upping the mobcap even slightly greatly improved results, cause seemingly he was hogging a lot of the mobs
