When I was younger it wasn't really a thing, and in comparison to the States it still isn't really a thing, but where there's sales there'll be people, so. I'm having a rough time picking between two options for a new laptop. On one hand the cheaper model is sufficient for my immediate needs and hardware-wise is a decent machine but it's, well, the cheaper of my two final candidates, and I'm not a huge fan of the large bezels around the screen.
But the more expensive one is, well,more expensive, by a pretty large margin. It's a decent bit more powerful and has better hardware, and as far as the design goes I much prefer it. And while I most certainly don't need a particularly strong laptop for school at the moment, I don't know if that'll be sufficient as a long-term purchase and I'm a stickler for buying a better option that'll last me longer even if it's more expensive.
But it's also a GOOD bit more expensive which is making me pretty hesitant. I also have like 2.5 hours to make the decision if I want to take advantage of sales.
