If Dorian actually makes landfall, a lot of people could die. Well, even if it doesn't, the storm surge may actually destroy hundreds of homes and leave people drowned. I'd be surprised if there were fewer than 100 deaths on the current track.
2000 people died in Puerto Rico in 2017 as a result of Irma. It's truly tragic.

Haha, if I evacuate now, I'll die. 100%. We're at the stage where it's not possible to evacuate because there's no gas and the cars are backed up forever. People who evacuate at this point are much more likely to die than if they stay home.
I'm a little mad Fish hasn't contacted me encouraging me to evacuate or anything. If she had done that, I totally would have.
Those weren't killer hurricanes, though. I've been through worse hurricanes than any of those. But Dorian as it is right now is one of the most powerful hurricanes on record and exceeding /// is exceeding all of the models significantly so it's very unpredictable.
But moreover, I miss her and if she'd asked me to evacuate there, I would have gone in a heartbeat.
I'm honestly a little afraid of Dorian now. It might actually make landfall here. My life is actually in danger according to the current predictions.
Imagine if it doesn't manage to burn out and travels all the way up the coast to start battering Blue.
Honestly at that point it would probably start notably affecting weather systems here too.

It's impossible to make up for lost time. When you go without sleep, people say you're getting "sleep debt". But the truth is that you can't repay that debt. Sleeping more doesn't fix that sleep deprivation, sleeping normally does, over time. Wasted time is the same. Going super hard isn't going to fix things. Keeping a normal pace is the healthiest way to do it. The time that's gone will never come back, but that's something you have to accept.

Yeah I see where you're coming from. They've both got that kind of weird urban fantasy vibe. Though Enen deals more with the action and the characters where Kekkai Sensen looks more at the people and how they relate to the city around them. Enen's city is just a backdrop for the characters and their stories; they could have literally named it anything, but Kekkai Sensen wouldn't be Kekkai Sensen if it wasn't the warped Manhattan Island that it is.

!C0.PerkELE
also those pipes most likely have been in place way longer than our cast has been alive and my mistake it most likely isn't copper as in pure copper but some alloy Brass prolly
Anno
Brass is a popular alloy of copper for pipes. You can produce that from mixing copper and zinc.
!C0.PerkELE
zinc afterall is very common
!C0.PerkELE
bronze would be better, but well is expensive and overly complicated to make compared to brass
Anno
For this specific function bronze and brass are negligible in quality of service, so arguably brass IS better because of it being more affortable and simpler to produce.
!C0.PerkELE
also bronze is a "metal coloured"
!C0.PerkELE
>>739994 isn't bronzel ike 7-9 parts copper rest tin while brass is closer to 50/50
Anno
Tin isn't quite plentiful. Like sure it ain't rare but copper is plentiful and zinc is plentiful and tin can be far more uncommon in parts of the world. Brass is going to be a better industrial choice too since it'sa tad more malleable than bronze while being capable of sustaining similar heat thresholds. There's a reason a lot of house plumbing is made with brass.
>>739997 in terms of say "functioning as piping" both bronze and brass have about same qualities but brass is just cheaper, because less copper
bronze ofc is a lot harder compound, which is why it was a weapon material
!C0.PerkELE
amusingly enough Iron is a lot more common than copper, but required way higher temperatures to smelt
Anno
Yeah you don't really want to make weapons out of brass.
>>740002 Copper wasn't great as a metal for weaponry too. Like not bad when your options are flint or stone.
>>740004 It's hella SOFT. Copper is super malleable which is why it's great for wiring.
>>740005 Yeah welcome to metallurgy. Take two base compounds and alloy them together and you end up with a new material that doesn't neccessarily follow the natures of the materials used.
but bronze isn't that soft and tin is soft as fuck

I get why for example the student brewery club uses only 0,33 or 0,5l bottles you can just pour the drink with very minimal bottom yeast getting into the glass

I am actually more impressed by the people, most likely vice cap, that manged to balance the 4 weights, the planks, the 2 sets of 6 cups, the double 5kg weighs, the weigh on those and the flower plant on top of the captain, who is balancing on the ball
and also the ball the captain is quite tall and damn large person, weighing easily 85-100kg with all of whatever is on him he most likely is at 150 at minimum
I don't think there are that many exercise balls made for that weigh
we just take the fuse out for the time being dad was talking about putting a switch to break the circuit for when I'm not using it which is kind of funny to me, seems to be his solution for quite a few things the lawn mower has a switch and so does the garage door after certain parts of those stopped working

Arrow I need to level it up more. But Arrow is pretty much the one to use for boss fights. I mix it up in most fights. I think I sit on Arm a lot if I'm going melee. Kirara π
my fav is sword i almost entirely use sword and gladius tbh

what's so good about arrow for boss fights?
Koi
There are a couple of them now where it's just you can't reach me without long range. I'm usually on Arm and Arrow. And then I just end up using Arrow/Pistol for the ranged sync combo. And once it's in that long range only phase, it's pretty much it.

Well I found a site that has the files I want in Arabic. That's something. Maybe.
Anno
It depends on the content you're looking for. Some people that provide subtitles just release them as an .ass file. Most anime fansubbers put their subtitle files into the .mkv package though. There's probably some hacky way of extracting that using basic Windows operations but it's probably easier to get some software to extract the files for you. Though either way this requires downloading the full video file so it's not really an answer to your question. tl;dr unless the subbers actually provide the .ass file of their subtitles you're probably gonna have to download the full video.

The eye is always the most alien. I remember 2004, standing in the eye of a hurricane, watching the sky light up in green, blue, red, pink, orange. Just every color you can imagine.

ζ
>>740648 i dont know why mongolia probably to live or something
mongolia is a nice place the government tries to be very, very responsible too they're still heavily influenced from an older china but their population is more suited for those politics
yeah inner mongolia is kind of a weird thing mongolia is really dependent on china the trade border is controlled by china so the australian and english companies that are mining there and stuff have to deal with china and comply with all their regulations before dealing with mongolian regs there's some russian borders too but russia doesn't have the industry that china does which is really necessary for mongolian operations
mongolia is a really proud country, they demand a whole lot of the foreign companies that are coming in to use mongolia's land and resources the mines are responsible for the development and sustainability of the rural regions of the south gobi they're building roads and water supply and schools and education systems for the small villages and they're bringing in livestock for the herders and farmers to have sustainable production t they are still a very nomadic people so there's a lot of disruption that comes from that economic volatility
i really like that they're putting the pressure on those companies to do all that stuff. they mandate that a certain percentage of the workers be mongolian nationals as well, and that a certain percentage of the vendor contracts the mines acquire for services like engineering, transportation, food and construction, supply chain etc also be from mongolian companies and not to just outsource everything and bring in external services
