Oh, hold on, you're mixing the bonuses up.
There are soft buffs and hard buffs.
Azura's Drive Res 2, for example, is a soft buff. It doesn't increase allies stats until combat is being resolved and you don't see the +3 on the character's stats.
Fortify/Hone X are hard buffs and are shown on the stats. They grant +6
If you try to use Rally Attack on a unit with +6, you won't be able to.
Because it only grants 4 and that doesn't surpass the current buff.
However, Goad/Ward X are soft buffs. And those can stack multiple times.
You can tell the difference between hard and soft buffs because the soft buffs specifically say "during combat".

That's how I've been leveling up all my characters.
I got like six more people to level 40 and my armored units actually have SP for skills now.
You just have them stand there against the level 35 units and they kill everything.
It's how I got Legion's Axe+ on my Sheena so quickly

Something's happened with Jack and her Master was AWOL -- probably not even part of the group of people that make up the Black Masters in the first place I figure. So that pair is moving around as a rogue agent, a bit like Mordred and the Necromancer if you think about it, since Shirou has locked up the other five Red Masters and taken their Command Seals -- making him the Master of six Red Servants.
Spartacus, the Red Berserker, was captured by the Black faction, and their Caster, using his mastery of magic, since he's a Caster, broke the pact between him and his Master, and contracted their Beserker as a servant. Servants, especially Casters can take on other Servants -- there's been stuff like this which has happened in previous Fate series.
