I don't understand football hooliganism. i mean sure sports is cool and all and a bit of rivalry between teams is fun but are you really going to stab a cunt over it just for liking a different team
I don't understand the Kashmir border conflict between Indian *India and Pakistan either. I mean sure regional geopolitics is cool and all and a bit of rivalry between teams is fun but are you really going to blow up a cunt over it just for believing in a different religion
Anno
>>1152644 No But it's a good excuse to make the common rabble fight to achieve your actual geopolitical goals
>>1152644 no you see the basis of society is actually war and violence we have to go to war and blow each other because uhh reasons my podcaster made it sound more convincing

i guess the article addresses that maybe the unified memory model that apple silicon has is inevitable

that's what i meant when i asked you about your cock speed clock speed i said clock
Samu /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\
oh man that takes me back messaging my first ever gf online back in the day accidentally typoing cock instead of clock and getting super flustered
all the polar ice melted now it's just 🎵 another day of sun

BLACK HOLE SUN WON'T YOU COME AND WASH AWAY THE PAIN
it will be the toyota auris, I believe 2018 model but it might be 2017, I'm not entirely certain paperwork tomorrow after work, test drove it today and was gonna do that as well, but their computer systems were fucked so we rescheduled it for tomorrow all told, I will be able to use it in maybe a week or two
driving it is really, really comfortable a little annoyed by neither the gas nor clutch having any resistance to speak of, but that's something I just gotta get used to I've gotten so used to needing to use a little bit of force on both in the peugeot, but on this thing there's legit nothing acting against my foot the little tablet all cars have where the radio used to be is, of course, in this thing too, but it seems a bit more barebones than others I've seen
being able to press down on the gas and have the car fucking jolt is really excillerating, at least the peugeot only has like... 68 horsepower, it doesn't do that
if I manage to save up the money for it, I might look into doing something about the speakers in it, though There's nothing wrong with them, like they function probably exactly as they're supposed to, there's just a bit of a lack of bass, so my music of choice ends up feeling a little diminished
but that's nitpicking, really I'm super excited about it Not a diesel though, which means I've got like... $100 worth of diesel I can't use fortunately, my dad's car's a diesel, so if we can tap the tank he can have that
>>1152755 in the tank it's like 1.75 a liter, give or take tank is 40 liters, I've got a can of 10 in the trunk >>1152758 diesel is a little bit cheaper most of the time not by a whole lot, but a little
Rei !p8eYCadcMo
it's weird to me that Euros will have diesel cars here it's pretty much just semi trucks and other heavy duty vehicles
S C
Mine is \\\ was a diesel becase the cheapest car available was a diesel
Gonna be real fuckin' nice to have a car I don't gotta shift down to 4th on the moderately steep highway between here and the city, too
the little shit served me well for 5 years, but it was never like, a great car It probably wasn't gonna go through the EU checks this year either way, to be fair well, now it certainly won't, obviously
I think a good while back there was some sorta governmental tomfoolery that really pressed the diesel prices down, to help out shipping and whatnot Not sure about that though, it's a vague memory I've got but they're still \\\ it's still a little bit cheaper most of the time
yeah I like it a lot it's not the nicest looking car, but it's not ugly either
oh the peugeot was alright for what it was I'm not gonna miss it, but it was my first car and 5 years is a good lifespan for the price here's hoping this car at like 5x the price lasts longer
Samu /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\
we dont even have peugeots over here
my car is my parents old toyota camry
S C
chances are it'll last me a long time for one it's a toyota and it only has like 100k km on the meter
I don't drive all that much, after all
Samu /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\
100k is a decent amount should be fine on a car like that yeah
yeah newer cars have the track/volume controls on the wheel that's a nice luxury
S C
the peugeot has volume and track on the wheel too, it's just the bluetooth isn't integrated in the car, it's actually picking it up on fm radio though the little dongle has forward and back buttons, and it's next to the gearstick so it's not actually a problem, it's just kinda annoying that and it for whatever reason doesn't broadcast the track information together with the music which is annoying
S C
hm, I should ask tomorrow what it'd cost to upgrade the built in display to something a bit more feature rich it's not a big priority, but if it's relatively cheap, maybe I'll do it
S C
Like, it's gonna be a while before I actually get to use the car anyway cause they gotta put it through some maintenance and whatnot, make sure it's in good shape and clear off a little rust here and there, so if it's not super expensive and won't add weeks to that, having them slot in a better display seems like a good idea >>1152776 ya that thing I'm planning to have this car for a while, after all, might as well at least see if I can have access to some neat stuff It's way below the budget my mom gave me anyway, so I'm sure she won't be opposed to throwing in a tiny bit extra to add that in
Samu /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\
android auto/carplay?
moon
can i see your new ride
S C
I can take some pics tomorrow unless they've already sent it off to the workshops
well they're certainly cutting time where they can in the opening act which, while not ideal, is at least a good place to cut what time you do need to cut
Samu /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\
buy box of combo day/night cold and flu pills
> two blister packs of pills, one white one blue > the blue one is daytime > the white pills are night time you almost got me you cretins
well the car's paid for, so now it's just a matter of waiting and I gotta get confirmation on whether they can install a more feature-rich display as well, they weren't entirely sure it's the 2015 model, turns out, I thought it was 2018 or 2017 but I guess I just confused it with a different car we looked at
ogh oh yeah, picture of car screenshot because metadata fear
Samu /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\
its pretty good at balancing on its nose
S C
yeah I'm not the biggest fan of the white color, but with used cars you don't get to pick a color
Samu /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\
its gonna need cleaning on the reg i like it, seems nice the rims are cool lookin
S C
Yeah overall I like how it looks but the most important part is how it is to drive, and for that I've got just about no complaints, and none that aren't just a matter of adjustment
the rims do look way too cool for a car like this, yeah it's like someone in denim overalls working on cars, but wearing a diamond necklace or something
116 horsepower if the stuff I found online is accurate Which isn't like, astonishing, but it's a lot for me it fuckin' goes when I press the pedal down Going straight up to 70km/h in the second gear without the engine sounding like I'm killing it is a good feeling
this seems to be the automatic, but other than the area with the park brake and the gearstick is... well, it's pretty much accurate
Anno
Oh that's a bit nicer
S C
like I don't think the clock to the right of the display is there in the one I've got, and the steering wheel looks a little different to me even if I can't put my finger on what But besides that it's like this
also that middle screen between the rpm and speedometer can be moved between different displays, including a compass (for some reason) what I assume is gps, and the media player readout but at the bottom of it is a small section with the current speed limit and, assumedly not in the automatic version, a little indicator telling you to shift up or down based on your current speed
having the music player info and the gps easily accessible without looking to the side is nice
if I'm able to swap out the display (tbd) I hope the bluetooth connects faster, though it's real slow to finish connecting for some reason, though maybe that can be remedied somehow
>>>/watch?v=fvhXCLtQLdM marsh you should get me to playlist your normcore music it'll only cost you hmmm how about I just invoice you at the end of the month
Okay, the user is asking for a playlist of normal music for normal people. Hmm, "normal" can be pretty broad. Maybe they mean mainstream or popular tracks. Let me think of genres like pop, rock, or maybe some R&B that's been big lately.
I should check if they have a preference in genre or artists. But they didn't specify. I should suggest some well-known artists to make sure. Ed Sheeran is a safe bet with his pop songs like "Shape of You". Taylor Swift has massive hits like "Shake It Off". Maybe throw in some older classics too, like "Hey Jude" by the Beatles. Wait, the user might want something recent? Or a mix? I'll include a variety across decades to cover different tastes.
Also, should I mention that they can refine the selection? Maybe offer to adjust based on their favorite genres. Yeah, better to give them a sample and ask for feedback. Let me list some songs and artists first, then open the door for more specific requests. </think> <say> Ah, Anno wants a "normal" playlist! Let me curate a selection of universally relatable tracks then...
**Playlist Suggestions:** 1. **Ed Sheeran - "Shape of You"** (catchy pop/rock) 2. **Billie Eilish - "Bad Guy"** (modern pop anthem) 3. **The Weeknd - "Blinding Lights"** (synthwave groover) 4. **ABBA - "Dance Me to the End of Love"** (timeless classic) 5. **Coldplay - "Yellow"** (feel-good rock staple) 6. **Lady Gaga - "Shallow"** (emotional powerhouse ballad)
>>1152898 did not know there was such drama in peppa pig

there was a funny cut in a librarian video where someone asked nl if had a take on something important and he hadn't heard about it and then hard cut to him talking about the peppa pig thing and how the show is washed
