-- New Shows Build Divide - Code Black Deep Insanity - The Lost Child Shikizakura Taishou Otome Otogibanashi Visual Prison World Trigger
yeah i'll do new shows i'll have to download them probably
Anno
fortunately i work pretty late in the morning so i'll have time no matter what tonight
Anno
Of the new stuff, Build Divide is a card game anime set in a future Kyoto Deep Insanity is a multimedia project with some kind of illness and people that fight monsters Shikazakura on further examination is probably a poorly done 3D CGI show so isn't probably worth keeping track of Taishou Er Taishou Otome Otogibanashi is a time period romance slice of life (and probably the one thing in this remaining set worth watching) Visual Prison is about vampires in modern day Japan doing Visual Kei bands
It's not uncommon, even really the norm, for artists to be disatisfied with their finished product But he just has this vague dissatisfaction and doesn't really know how he wants to improve That's kind of a creative trap to be stuck in
Anno
I feel like Yuka's dad loaded that "what went wrong with you" with much more than just the art school attendance
Anno
That's a lot of hands
Oh that was a good realization from him He has been pretty wrapped up in thinking about how he was making rather than what he wanted to mae
Anno
Make, even
Anno
i haven't said much because i'm kind of consumed this show is really compelling
The parts with Tadano and Komi by themselves are sweet but this show is really sold on its cast of absurd characters Najimi in particular is always a ride
Anno
the animation is really cute and they do some tricks to make it more interesting than your typical manga adaptation stylistically, it's really nice
there's a lot more to it than i expected
Anno
It's been a while since I read the manga but it's neat to see what they've changed from what I remember They took their time in bringing Najimi in but moving the chalkboard scene up to episode one was a really good mood setter for the show in general
Honestly I'd be down for just a series about a new visual kei band trying to make it in Harajuku Adding vampires to the mix seems excessive Even if all visual kei musicians kind of look like vampires anyway
The Taishou era was roughly 1912-26 A fairly short cultural era but it was an interesting time between the famous Meiji Restoration era and the era which waged WWII
Anno
i saw someone on the internet get REALLY mad about this show
Amazake I presu- Oh it's milk I'm surprised she was able to get milk
>>997415 I can see the similarities, yeah Speaking of that show, it'll be getting a season three some time, it's been announced
Anno
>10,000yen Man I get this was over a hundred years ago, but that still feels insultingly cheap to buy an actual human being with I mean buying people at any price is pretty insulting
Anno
about 5000 dollars maybe slightly more
Anno
that's 1920 dolalrs i think so like 60-70k
Anno
74 -86 CAD
Anno
He slept! I t's nice he was finally able to get a good night's sleep
yeah that was comfy it's a strange situation but it isn't handling it poorly i can probably watch more of this i don't know if i want to watch more visual prison thoughj
Anno
It didn't really celebrate purchased brides/children but it also kind of emphasized it is a normal thing for this time and culture Which is, well It's awful that it happened But it's also the setting for show and time period And I think the two main characters are charming in of their own rights
Anno
i think it's too much for me to think about too sleepy
