Puraore is definitely something I'm up for exchanging if there's something more appealing The first episode was more or less what I was expecting and my curiousity is mostly satiated
Blue Period is the easy choice for me hah hah But Deep Insanity despite the dumb name might be fun too If you don't want to spin up the torrent program tonight

wait what the hell these guys actually speak english!?
Anonymous
They're human ... BRAINS
Anonymous
That was a delightful amount of ham
Anonymous
This is a really good OP song but it a bit of a shame they didn't use the original JAM PROJECT song from the VN
Anonymous
The girl with the brown braids reminds me of the glasses girl from Azumanga Daioh
Anonymous
He's speedrunning!
Anonymous
wait she even has a bunny tail
Anonymous
what the hell he just heads over there to shake her hand and then bails
Anonymous
I feel this could have definitely benefited from having the chance to adapt the earlier Muv-Luv VNs There's a lot of heavy allusions to the events of the previous worlds he's been in
>slight differences won't effect the outcome that's the opposite of the butterfly effect
Anonymous
for plot simplicity reasons, the collective authorship of mankind recognizes an alternate "anti-butterfly effect"-type concept that comes up very often in time travel fiction this sort of "regression to the mean" or "resistance to change" that timelines exhibit weaving in ideas of fate or destiny or inevitability of certain events i find it interesting and it tends to make stories somewhat more believeable to it's fine with me
Anonymous
>>993480 If the ability to retry time loops or time travel was ever real, I imagine the real outcome would lie somewhere in the middle of this hard no effect theory and the butterfly effect Some small things would be inconsequential, but others could have drastic effects on the outcome

He's got his own Rei-clone meido to wake him up in the morning How nice
Anonymous
Hah hah hah Spoken like a real scientist
Anonymous
the scratches all over the bottom of her desk are really creeping me out
Anonymous
There's a lot of interesting mysteries the narrative sets up But at the same time because this is the second time around in this particular world it's hard to know if they're mysteries we're already supposed to know the answer to or not
Kinda weird sending high school girls to fight like that
Anonymous
There seems to be a high ration of female pilots in the ranks of these mecha pilots I'm sure there are "reasons" for this but I wonder how they rationalize it in-universe
I wonder how quickly they'll keep moving through his childhood There's a bunch of cute girls that show up once he's a teen or at least older kid
Anonymous
wow this OP is sick af
Anonymous
Oh right the magic tutor which dropped an atomic bomb in his face as a way of saying hello
Anonymous
Him having absurd stats is a part of the show's premise of course But I wouldn't mind every now and then a show with an MC who doesn't get dumbass isekai stats and has to survive more on wile and skill than sheer power
Isekai is wish fufillment even the ones that aren't OP end up being OP
Anonymous
Yeah and I wouldn't mind a change once in a while! Power-tripping wish fulfillment is fun to watch but some times a different flavour is nice too
Anonymous
i really like re:zero partially because the MC's "power" is suffering
i can't really think of any isekai where the main character isn't OP i guess in full dive he is mostly weak but towards the end it started hinting at him actually having godlike power also that world wasn't real
i do like this show and hope for more, so this isn't the usual bang criticizing an anime but i do wish it was actually just about him as an old man assassin on earth
Anonymous
Being able to will raw elements into physical existence would really disrupt a world's economy
Anonymous
unless mages are really rare the copper market must be a mess
Anonymous
Alternatively, the spell to create copper drains a lot out of you Like he's got fathomless mana reserves but maybe a small chunk like that is actually pretty intensive
oh he's going to solve the magic system and rewrite stuff and make super op spells
Anonymous
Kinda reminds me of that show about the asshole teacher at a magic school The one with your favourite school uniforms Bang That series also had a lot of fun with how magical languages can be toyed with
she has two elements and she's the only one that has two elements
really makes you think
Anonymous
She's the only person she knows who has two elements The way she phrased it sounds like it's not impossible, just highly rare
I don't think it's impossible but I'd wager against it
Anonymous
His dad in this world is kinda contradicting his training in his original world In his original world he was nothing more than a tool to kill But his dad is stressing he's his own person too
Although this feels like an excessive punishment for this woman
Anonymous
Wow
Anonymous
Well I still don't abide killing people for their crimes but she did end up being a less deserving person than she appeared
Their centuries as a feudal nation of constantly fracturing and fighting petty states forged a lot of their bloodlines into pretty serious warriors You can probably draw a straight line of causality from these interior civil wars to the militaristic goals of Imperial WWII Japan
Episode two! I hope we see some cool art stuff this episode
Anonymous
orange had to use the restroom
Anonymous
He's got a good gutsy smile

This is a pretty diverse set of projects for a highschool art club Even my highschool's art classes weren't this detailed
Anonymous
She's not wrong While you can improve visual arts just by doing what you like, things like still lifes, or figure drawing, or other practices, offer a diverse variety of techniques you can benefit from
Anonymous
Mori is intense when she focuses She looked more like she wanted to murder those objects than sketch them
Anonymous
>My back hurts like hell You got to keep a good posture when at a canvas!
Anonymous
He's really shown some astonishing improvement in a fairly short time I guess this is what full-blown enthusiasm looks like
Anonymous
Hah hah what is that figure
A few of these girls showed back up sporting tans I guess they spent a lot of time doing art outside
Anonymous
one of the things about art is that being objectively skilled at creating certain kinds of pieces and creating original and meaningful pieces are not one and the same and so the idea of judging one's self in such an objective manner is kind of painful for me to see
Anonymous
She got in!
Anonymous
>>993572 I think it's useful, especially since this art club has a bit of a focus on traditional art, to know where your mechanical skills falter compared to your more experienced peers Not all art is about creating "accurate" or realistic depictions of life, of course, but the techniques you learn doing that transfer into other aspects of visual art Beating yourself up over it isn't great, but knowing what you lack is important.
She's a nice art nerd I wonder what the pacing of this series is like If the stuff of episode one was spring, and they're now in summer vacation She's his senpai so she'd be graduating at the end of the school year, so she might be out of their school in a few episodes
i got my coworker into anime and at first he mostly just watched stuff like shield hero and sword art and some shonen and battle harems but now i've got him on daily lives of high school boys, 300 years of slimes, and shows like this one
Anonymous
I wonder if Rit has convinced Red to let her stay at his place yet
Anonymous
Guess so
Anonymous
>>993595 last episode she was imposing real hard it really didn't even seem like he had a choice
Anonymous
She could use a better pyjama top though An exposed chest like that will catch her a cold!
Anonymous
Wow she's going to loot her old home for paintings I guess she's royalty they might have a bunch of them just gathering dust in a storeroom
This world started off not seeming so bad But apparently it's a world where everyone has psychic impulses which influence their abilities and affects their personality and if you want to get better with them you have to kill other living beings Maybe this world doesn't deserve being saved
On one hand I'm really happy for the two of them On the other hand

Anonymous
Oh I guess they've been bleeding party members since losing Red And now this fighter guy is about to leave too Good job you loser magic nerd look what you did to the party
fuck all this hero shit though let the man run his shop
Anonymous
Though on the other hand if the hero's party can't defeat the Maou because they're useless without him and the Maou takes over the world, he wouldn't have the peace to run his shop either
Anonymous
then you just start selling maou-dicinal cookies 😈
