Now that nearly all of the cast members are dead, I wonder if we'll see a slow down fatalities. I don't think I'd be very happy if any of the survivors died.

Although the focus of the arc so far seems to not have her and the rest of the Alba showing up very much

I'm pretty sure in the few occasions they used Shin's full name in season one, they wrote it "Shin'ei"
Which is normally how those kinds of names get romanized since the "ei" is phonetically separate from the "n"
But they're not doing that this season

They really did grind an insane amount of experience in their first mission

The tiny empress really does remind me of the two Ai's from Ryuuou no Oshigoto

I was listening pretty closely and I think the Federation are calling him "Shin'ei"
Which tracks with how I remember it being localized in season one, so I'm pretty sure that's how it's pronounced

oh do you just mean that the subtitles are doing it without the apostrophe?
yeah i mean it's probably just a mistake but we'd never be able to find out
that's the kind of thing i don't think is worth even wondering about

Yeah, that's normally how they localize -romanize the text

the people who translate this probably get paid less than we do

Despite the pandemic there's been some fantastic shows

ironically i think it's partially because of the pandemic and the delays to some of these shows that gave them enough time to spend on QC and stuff

mushoku's opening montages are something i wish would become more popular
i'm sure it costs a lot but it improves the show so much over having a normal OP

I do know the off couples in this show are really well developed too
They get plenty of screentime and fanservice too

from what i've heard, they're better and more interesting than the main pairing
surely that's subjective, but it bodes well to hear something like that

I think that's partially because pairing up Igarashi and Takeda would wrap up the series' premise
But also because Igarashi and Takeda's kouhai/senpai relationship is the comedic foundation of the story too, so the writing probably avoids drifting too far from that when it comes to writing bits
Where as with the off couple they can play around with their dynamic without messing with the punchline

ah yes, my most loathed aspect of the anime and manga world
when resolving the conflict would end the story, and therefore cannot happen
