Also the stuff yet watched because I forgot to drag highlight over the whole list
Now that nearly all of the cast members are dead, I wonder if we'll see a slow down fatalities. I don't think I'd be very happy if any of the survivors died.
Anno
I imagine the five will probably stick around a while But Lena does have a new squad of 86 she's commanding who are probably in the disposable category again
Although the focus of the arc so far seems to not have her and the rest of the Alba showing up very much
Anno
poor shin having to deal with all these green kids he's already the most seasoned and experienced veteran of any unit he'll end up assigned to if he wasn't so mentally fortuitous it might bother him more
Anno
I think Shin kinda likes having people to look after He was the longest serving soldier in the Spearhead by the end of it He would have seen a lot of his rookies come in relatively fresh and have to keep them from dying as long as possible
Pets are important soul companions Regardless if they're biological or robotic
Anno
his smile the scary one
Anno
He got his gun back too
Anno
I'm pretty sure in the few occasions they used Shin's full name in season one, they wrote it "Shin'ei" Which is normally how those kinds of names get romanized since the "ei" is phonetically separate from the "n" But they're not doing that this season
Anno
Looks like the Grim Reaper is back in perfect condition
They really did grind an insane amount of experience in their first mission
Anno
The tiny empress really does remind me of the two Ai's from Ryuuou no Oshigoto
Anno
>>992835 has shin or the crew said it like that? i thought maybe it was just a thing where the federation people were pronouncing it funny
Anno
>>992839 I was listening pretty closely and I think the Federation are calling him "Shin'ei" Which tracks with how I remember it being localized in season one, so I'm pretty sure that's how it's pronounced
Anno
oh do you just mean that the subtitles are doing it without the apostrophe? yeah i mean it's probably just a mistake but we'd never be able to find out that's the kind of thing i don't think is worth even wondering about
Anno
Yeah, that's normally how they localize -romanize the text
Anno
the people who translate this probably get paid less than we do
Anno
I doubt that, I don't get paid very much
Anno
i don't imagine these guys make much either or i'd expect a lot more than what we always get
Anno
bro.... don't say things like that....
Anno
Well Shin's kinda calling him out on it The military isn't a good place to go if you want to play with death flags like that
ironically i think it's partially because of the pandemic and the delays to some of these shows that gave them enough time to spend on QC and stuff
Anno
>Rent-free Rudy you're paying with your imprisonment
Anno
I'd say prisoners don't normally have to pay rent but that's not actually true in certain prison-heavy parts of the world
Anno
mushoku's opening montages are something i wish would become more popular i'm sure it costs a lot but it improves the show so much over having a normal OP
Anno
Also why is he naked It's not like his clothes were particularly armored They could've rifed through them for magic trinkets and returned them to him
Anno
He's using the Japanese tally system for counting the days, eh Although I guess it's more Chinese in origin
Anno
slug
Anno
Rudy please
Anno
Oh maybe he was one of the guys the elf lady slept around with as they were looking for Rudy
Anno
the little tiny red ring in his eye
Anno
Yeah it looks like his eye isn't something he can just turn off It's been there since he got gifted it
Oh wait that guy was the Sword Saint of the North God style Which means he was roughly around the same level as Ghislaine I think Paul in his heyday would've been even more skilled but who knows where he stands after retiring to raise a family
Oh no jii-chan It looks like things haven't been going well back home
Anno
:(
Anno
I wonder if Eris' dad takes over as local noble of his dad's city now that his dad's been executed I think in a proper punishment the Greyrat family in general would have had to surrender their title
Ah actually that reminds me sorry I was gonna ask if this was something we could maybe put off 'till Thursday So Kirara can watch it Plus it gives Bang chance to catch up on the episode he missed
We could do Saihate no Paladin or one of the two vampire shows instead >>992907
Can he really bring himself to try and kill the old man ghost Nah What a good kid
Anno
I wonder what prompted Gus to try and kill him I get the gist that he did it on his own and not in agreement with the other two
Anno
>Shorten or lengthen the spear at will We Monkey King now
Anno
learning about gambling is somewhat important in the sense that someone who knows nothing about it, when confronted with it for the first time in their life, is very capable of ruining their life
Anno
Backgammon!
Anno
Oh I thought she was going to sit down at the table and school them all
There' There's a fair bit of mystery as to why the three undead have a human child amongst themselves Judging from what we saw in episode one, they seem to have summoned him there Although its hard to tell if that's relevant to him being a reincarnated person from "our" world or not
There's all this mystery and they're explicitly keeping secrets about it from him
i'm definitely curious about the rest of the world this takes place in
Anno
We see some of them in the OP as well Plus some white-haired girl who might not be human
Will seems pretty isolated from the living world though Even once he leaves the undead he might have a long time to journey before he finds a living civilization
OH YEAH SHE DID THAT that was great she should do that more
Anno
I wonder what the age difference between them is Since age has no bearing on the senpai/kouhai relationship in the workplace But he does seem a bit older than her, and that's not just the size factor here
Yeah I'm glad it got an anime I see the chapters on Twitter pretty regularly since some artists I follow are friends with this series's mangaka
Anno
Sakurai kinda has a "I'll fucking beat you up" face
Anno
It would probably be pretty hard to see Igarashi as anything but a daughter Since she's so small She'd have to find a manlet of a partner to seem even remotely to scale
Anno
Wow, brutal
Anno
Although Takeda's also pretty big for a Japanese guy Both in height and body size Almost any Japanese woman would look small compared to him
Oh she cam barely reach she really does seem child sized
oh no it's trouble
Anno
JUDO TIME
Anno
JUDO' D
>>992965 I think she's somewhere around 140cm Which in Eurocentric parts of the world would make her, like, legally dwarfish It is on the extreme scale of being small for an adult in Japan, but not unheard of Hololive's Minato Aqua is purportedly about that tall too
Hah hah that noodleman's face I've got to go b ack for that face
Anno
I do know the off couples in this show are really well developed too They get plenty of screentime and fanservice too
Anno
from what i've heard, they're better and more interesting than the main pairing surely that's subjective, but it bodes well to hear something like that
Anno
I think that's partially because pairing up Igarashi and Takeda would wrap up the series' premise But also because Igarashi and Takeda's kouhai/senpai relationship is the comedic foundation of the story too, so the writing probably avoids drifting too far from that when it comes to writing bits Where as with the off couple they can play around with their dynamic without messing with the punchline
Anno
ah yes, my most loathed aspect of the anime and manga world when resolving the conflict would end the story, and therefore cannot happen
