The title of Maou seems to be kind of nebulous
Like you need to be of a certain power level to be one but you can also be way above that level
And there's people like Clayman who's accomplishments and power comes more from scheming and being underhanded than being actually strong

For the most part there also seems to be an expectation of ruling which comes with being a Maou
Or at least not being ruled by anyone else

Seems like the only real criteria is to be accepted by them

It also seems like they were all conspiring against Clayman
Maybe he was demon lord in name only

The author of this series seems to have a bit of a knack for playing with Kanji like that

The Harlequins all seem pretty good at running away though

Narata's hair has properly grown out now to what it was hinted at in the OP
She looks nice with the shoulder-length hair

I like how fluffy her hair is

So Narata did go for Juliet
But Sarasa went for Tybalt, which mean if they get their auditioned roles, they wouldn't be playing opposite each other

It's also kind of cute that Narata can't read Kanji well
Since she was doing a lot of stuff from a young age, and then idol work as a teen, that kept her from regular school attendance
It's a facet of her character which works really well with her backstory

I know my step-grandmother was really harsh with some of my cousins when they were really, really young
So bad that their parents basically refused to let their kids meet with those grandparents for the kids' pre-adult lives
