With a face like that, it's no surprise people don't want to help

I wonder if they'll ever show All For One's eyes
In the present his face is a scarred mess due to his serious fight with All Might before the series began
But even in the past his eyes are always off screen or obscured

If they do, it will be during a big reveal
or if he manages to fix himself

Not that they really looked good to begin with
But on his small kid body the hands really look kind of oversized

I guess he's giving up on the hand thing

Honestly if Shigaraki can disintegrate things just by being in close proximity to them now he's kind of unbeatable in a slow one-on-one fight like this

His power seems overwhelmingly strong
but there have to be some limits

I'd assume area is the most straightforward limitation
Although that seems pretty wide-ranging
There also seems to be some blowback on his own body for using it too strongly, so maybe another solution is a war of attrition

The other thing is his Quirk seems to also be able to effect insubstatial things now
Like disintegrating Re-Destro's stress he was drawing power from, or negating the amping up ability that politician guy could use

He's grown a lot in a short time.

PUNISHED TOGA

BIG powerup arc for a lot of the villains

They kinda needed it!
Although the only ones that really got a power-up were Toga, Twice, and Shigaraki
I guess Shigaraki also now commands the whole Meta Liberation Army now too though
So he's gone from being the head of a ragtag gang to a military commander

I think that brings us up to speed with where the hero side of the story had gotten to
Maybe they'll tie up some of the stuff they were hinting at in the first place when we started seeing the villain arc

villains arc was a bit boring initially
but it picked up and got pretty good

Most of the villains are kinda whatever or cringy characters
It's hard to get into them, like personally I don't see what so many do in Toga
Widening the villain cast and giving a few of them some more sympathic chances helped, I think

More parasite zombies!

I thought he was going to use like
a technique to excise it
but nope

Even if he's got chef's skills, I would imagine dissecting a parasite from someone's brain, that's developed enough to be sprouting from their eye, while the host body is thrashing violently, is probably a bit beyond technique

I feel like the parasites have probably taken root in most, if not all, the villagers

This dumbass has been chasing her skirt since he joined their party and now that she's showing him some consideration he's too wrapped up in having to kill a little girl to notice

That one kinda damedame girl does that "make them fall on my sword" thing a lot

This old guy is looking good for being seventeen years later

Oh maybe the stronger monsters is just a regional thing because the area's rife with magic crystals

an owl that big is really frightening

Owls are like one of the few good birds

Also it seems like we're starting to see how the various disparate parts of the world they've been to and things they've done tie together
I think these Dragon Bishops have been at fault for the scheming they've had to interrupt with their questing
And keeping them from accomplishing their small goals keeps the world from being destroyed in the long run

The way this troll moves is vaguely frog-like

At least so far the series has been shown to trend towards positive reconciliation

The way Sarasa talks about it, it sounds like her priorities were more about getting back with her roommate than fixing these too

I dunno if that's a good idea though

We'll have to see the future to get the full view of things, but so far I think there's still a saving grace in Mikey having not killed anyone yet
Kisaki needs Mikey to be a monster and so far he's still got a heart

I wonder if Chifuyu will take the mantle of the 1st Division's captain and nominate Takemitchy to be his second

I think this Kisaki will be on the level

but the catch will be Naoto being dead

It's probably a bit of a messy situation
Any long-running anime is still probably a bit on the fritz because of production issues due to the pandemic
And I think they expected Tokyo Revengers' anime to be well-received because it's one of the best-selling manga in Japan right now
So they probably figured "Well, we can leave off at a crazy cliffhanger because we'll be returning to it eventually"

But then also Draken's seiyuu got involved in an insanely messy scandal and last I heard was even going into hiding to avoid personal risk
Without the seiyuu of one of the series' main characters, it might be hard to get a quick return to it

Either way I expect we'll see more of it eventually
The series is one of the big series in Japan right now

Bakarina is kind of a wild pendulum
She's either super perceptive or wildly dense

It kinda took a bit later into the series than I thought it would
The OP teases Bakarina going to work for that magic academy place, or at least studying there

she kinda needs to learn something
to not be so defenseless
she gets kidnapped like every 6 eps

She's only been kidnapped twice in as many seasons!
It was Keith who got kidnapped last time

Honestly Geordo's persistent attempts to seriously charm Bakarina do seem to be working a bit

Nicol here killing both women and men alike
