They handle that book like they've never seen a book in their life

So they made a bunch of genetically engineered people all looking like the founding mother of their religion

I feel like a lot of this information is stuff that they would hint at or seed throughout the game
But that all didn't make it into the anime because of time / pacing constraints

Most of the plot we've gotten in this anime has focused on the Others and the time shenanigans
I wonder if there's also some plot threads regarding being moon children that got passed up from what they could adapt from the game

If you wanted to trigger a psykinetic reaction or something, maybe let it grow into an adult dog or something so there's time for a bond to solidify

Honestly if Kasane and Kagero wanted to sneak around this place they should have just swiped some of those outfits
They have masks and are indistinguishable from each other

he is right, it's an unusual amout of infodumping they're getting

Seems like they baited him with the promise of more information this time though
And instead are hacking his brain

He thought he was getting more infodump

I feel like some of this might've been hidden in earlier parts of the game
But since they didn't get to it they've had to compact it entirely into this reveal

I feel like if we'd gotten this anime like five years earlier it would've been a bit less relatable for me
Not because of the depression / black comedy aspect
But because these days I can definitely relate to Uramichi's aging body's woes a bit more

well he's definitely at the time in his life where the pain of the grind is setting in

And his job, while not terribly physically strenuous, is still kind of active

and we like pain

I'm pretty sure regardless of how satirical or accurate the black comedy bits of working on a Japanese kids show are
I think the costumes are unfortunately true to reality

A lot of this comedy is focused on Japanese work culture and other more Japanese-focused issues
But there are a few things in it which are very universal

they're singing these very well
especially for a kid's show

Well there's probably a lot of vocalists in Japan who almost get to professional work, but end up washed up before they can
And end up on shows like this one
So there's probably the skill there to sing well

Does that mean that meta-chronologically, Ciconia happens before Higurashi?
Or is there just some weird timey wimey stuff that means things kinda just happen outside of time because time doesn't real on the meta-world level

Vier is a character who looks a lot like Takano/Lambdadelta
Prior to Gou/Sotsu it made sense that she'd be part of the whole Takano chain but if Satoko is actually the proto-Lambdadelta then Vier would be another Satoko

It's a new show that started yesterday by Science Saru, Masaaki Yuasa's studio
He's not involved with the show but it very much has the aesthetic uniqueness of his works
It's adapting a classic Japanese historical fiction/fantasy from their old feudal myths
The first episode was really good

aquariums seem like they're probably sturdy and strong vs typhoons

More so you'd imagine an aquarium built in Okinawa would also factor typhoons into design too

Shelters like this aren't meant to be proper nests/habitats for animals, they're meant to give animals time-out spots or places they can be isolated if they need it
And I imagine also for things like this in parts of the world which get severe weather
A good animal care institution would have a proper nest/habitat location in their larger habitat where -which they'd use for their more normal habitation needs
