There's probably some fair complications to their plan though Like I guess the kingdom they want to put Youm in as ruler of is currently kingless But there's a lot of bigger political problems to an independent state like Tempest backing a literal nobody as the replacement ruler
Yeah I think something this series does really well is it establishes there are a lot of people and factions out there in this world, all moving towards their own goals and personal desires A lot of isekai can tend to boil down to a nice-looking backdrop for the MC and all the other characters are basically just things to be arranged for the MC's benefit I guess not just isekai, that's a common flaw of a lot of Japanese media, at least media that gets adapted or written as anime It's not really a distasteful thing, but it can make things feel a bit shallow at times
I really like deeply realized worlds like this, where there's a lot of interesting things happening even if it doesn't immediately correlate to the MC
I wonder if she can recreate the feat of singing in front of people or if she still needs work I can kind of understand the joy in finally being able to do something you really wanted to do though
5 is weird commpared to the others but I think it will be a good change

If they've only got a single cour for this it definitely feels like a nice number But if it's two-cour like most of the Love Live stuff has been then it might be a bit of a small cast Unless they want to do something like really develop school idols from other schools Which is something that Love Live in general has always been kind of weak about They'll have like one rival school idol group that gets a bit of characterization and then basically just ignored in the anime If they take the time to develop them in the anime itself, that might be kind of neat
Yeah I think it will be a lot better for 12 eps I do like the 3 - 3 - 3 thing that the original does though

Keke Tang is a really weird name to see in an anime I guess it probably seems normal for someone who grew up in China maybe Especially since the Keke is pronounced "Ku-ku"

Aaaaahhhh Harajuku is such a beautiful little neighbourhood of Tokyo I went there once in high school Didn't have a chance to check it out when I was in Japan a few years back Next time I go to Tokyo I should revist it Although an oji-san like me might look a bit weird walking it hah hah

Two other things that are neat about this series is it's the main character doing the songwriting I guess since they only have five people in their unit they need to compress responsibilities a bit And the other thing is they're song writing from a guitar and more contemporary music background
The other two main Love Live series have composed from piano and classic background Although you wouldn't really notice from the songs they'd perform But writing from guitar and modern music means you can get a different vibe
