With some distance from the event, it might be easier for her to learn the truth

great show
i loved it

I really liked how it moved through its various character arcs
Starting with Maeda, and then balancing between Defrott and Shutarou before returning to Maeda and Shutarou

Plus I'm a literature nerd so the constant allusions to the theatre and Defrott being an absolute dork was really charming for me

the characters were all really good
i'd have a hard time choosing between a handful of them for my favorite
the pacing of the episodes was also really really good

Plus the way it constantly returned to Misaki and her performance
There was an almost recursive element to it, each time we returned to that moment we understood more about the circumstances behind
That sort of thing shows some really strong narrative intent and is definitely a skilled demonstration of writing ability.

but this season is just too powerful

We're back in the present now
Time to see just how much has changed from Takemichi's heroics

Also that main theme from Mars Red is just really, really good
I can't say the rest of the OST stuck with me but that main theme was a brilliant composition

I get the feeling Hina's not going to be too excited to see him
Or just barely remembers him

Well having broken up with him is definitely a valid reason

It's kind of funny that despite changing the future for the better, his character seems to be hardlocked into being a loser
Like you'd think if in the past, if he worked hard, made good reliable friends, he'd be able to turn his life around and be a better person in the present

So far he can only timetravel in exact yearly intervals though
Which means to fix their break up he'd need to wait until he got close to the point where they broke up

then this author is clearly not for me
his handling of plot structure and his decisions infuriate me
the only thing that keeps me interested is the story of what happens in the past

if it wasn't for that last line where he says he's gonna be the head of toman i would have dropped it right now but i'll give him an episode to try to reel me back in

But when put up against dragons, or sentient slimes if they can even age, or demons
Elves feel like they're the ones without particularly long lifespans relatively
