We won't have Bang tonight, since the only thing left we've been watching with him is Shadows House, and he thinks he's dropping that one anyway

I do think Class A needs a win here
They got really beat down in that second match and that third match went pretty poorly aside from their best attempts to draw

Unrelated but the fact that this arc is totally gonna run through the entirety of the current season is gonna be annoying
Class B has some particularly insufferable people in it

Wow look at Bakugou being cooperative

That is a really bizarre Quirk
Probably good for scouting

B seems to have really odd quirks

A lot of them are ones that are nichely useful or stunted in other ways

I think Bakugou will win this one
and show how much he's grown

Yeah, I think there's a good chance of it
He's still a pretty solid dick about it all, but it does seem like the previous arcs have evolved his perspective about being a hero

It also feels like the B team is underestimating the rest of the A team

Oh yeah hah hah
Because the volatile compound Bakugou uses to make explosions is his sweat
So in the winter he's not sweating as much, so he can't get to his strongest as fast as usual

The A teams so far have been a little weak or disjointed
I think this is the first match with someone as focused as Bakugou

The other members are really pulling their weight too though
Jiro's scouting and offensive capabilities are actually seriously good
And Sero is showing some pretty solid thinking on the fly
The sugar guy ... well he was the muscle they needed hah hah

They really blasted through that round though
I guess it both helps show how competent Bakugou has become
And also on a meta-level helps them move this arc along

Good Bakugou episode

They're spending a bit more time on the strategy phase before the next match than I was expecting
I wonder if they'll leave the episode on the starting buzzer or if we'll see a bit of action before the episode is over

They've got like three utility Quirks and Deku on this team

I think this team will be hard for Deku's team

Deku's a bit volatile right now though, with the powers of previous One For All users coming out
We might get a bit of an asspull victory on his part

Oh I forgot
This is the first time he's really used his quirk since he was visited by the previous users

On top of that, the first time we saw the previous users, even if they were nothing more than shadows, was when Deku got brainwashed by that one guy during the athletics festival
If they try to brainwash him again, it might activate it once more
Plus I could see the obnoxious Class B guy copying Deku and getting one of the Quirks of the other users instead of One For All

In the movie they couldn't steal Deku's quirk cause it was too much info
I wonder if they'll use that logic

It looks like this final season will only be the one-cour
It'll probably rush things a bit compared to the manga but I think it'll probably be fine

I must have watched with someone else

Eh no worries
I generally don't care too much for shounen movies since they're one-off and often barely even canon
Hero Academia's movies are written by the mangaka so they're more canon than normal, but they're still basically entirely isolated things
By "I never got around to it" it's more "I don't think I'll ever get around to it"

How did he grow like two feet in the like two or three months we haven't seen him during

I think most of the younger Soumas have grown up a bit
Hiro and Kisa both look older than they did than the last time I think we saw them

Tohru has really all but adopted Kisa

Everyone's horny for Tohru all of a sudden

Another one broken from the curse!

Lots of character growth lately
but it also seems like everyone has lots left to grow

Especially with this final season being one-cour, they're probably gonna cut a lot of the stuff with the older Soumas, aside from maybe one or two
As we move towards the finale it'll probably focus on Kyo, Tohru, Akito, and Shigure

It must be rough hearing your mother talk to you like you're just a friendly acquaintance

I think she'll be the next to grow

There's probably a bit more groundwork that needs to be laid before that happens, but we're getting close I think

Episode four of this

Oil painting is kind of annoying
I also don't really like the smell of oil paint

Still don't like that squint eye of hers

They really just hunted him down to get back at Nagatoro for not letting them bully him too

wow these girls are gonna get him
but they may actually let him have feel

The one with the twintails seems to have like zero braincells
All her voice lines are like two-word echoes of what the other one says
If not just animalistic sounds

Anpan is pretty tasty

I really wouldn't want to eat it after being in another girl's bra tho

They're tasty when a little warm though!

She just wants Sempai to feel her up

Gosh

we knew this would happen

Now he can never look at premium anpan the same way ever again

She makes a very reasonable point

I don't think that's entirely accurate
But I do think the kind of people who are reticent to compliment and praise people are often the kind of people that don't receive earnest praise anyway

He really is one of the most dense people on the planet

In a bit to his defense, a lot of what she does is really mean
Or at first, at least
Even now she's still regularly kind of tactless and excessive in her teasing of him
But at least with how she acted when she first met him I don't entirely blame him for getting mixed signals

It seems like we might see more of his original harem this episode
I think that's another reason this season has been kind of less impactful than the first
They built up a bunch of characters and then just dipped on like half of them to pick up a brand new, totally unrelated plot thread with a bunch of brand new, totally unrelated characters on the other side of the world

Well if it's the only time he's ever had
Of course it would be the best

Oh it's this guy again

He's getting assaulted a lot this episode

The actual Maou talks more intelligently than I was expecting
She's been all "Yay, biscuits!" that when she starts sniffing out Diablo as a poor imitation of a Maou and stuff, she sounds older than you'd think

These racketeers sure picked the wrong cafe to demand money from

Even the weakest person in this set of four would probably be enough to exterminate this criminal family from the city

They're too strong for this area

And they're all a bunch of murderhobos aside from Diablo

Oh i guess I blinked and they got back to the original city Diablo was operating out of
I was wondering why all the main characters were showing up in that other city he'd travelled to.

I forgot about all this fallen stuff
You'd think they would overlook it after he saved the city from a demon lord

Yeah because they ditched the whole plot to travel halfway across the world!

She really made for a lovely geisha when she was alive

Looks like this is why Yugiri is so sweet on the Necroducer
He reminds her of a different man who was trying to revive Saga
Though it also looks like a lot of the cast have similar faces in this time period

This really is a lovely setting though
I'm not one for wanting to travel back in time or anything
But being able to immerse myself in a recreation or simulation of an environment like this would be nice

There's something about her right now that feels a bit different from when she's even dressed up to look human

This is the old man who we've seen once or twice
He runs a bar the Necroducer sometimes goes to
And totally has actual necromancer vibes to him

Who he is in present Saga seems to be who taught Necroducer the dark arts too

And there's Saki and Lily
Now we're just missing Sakura

Her Kansai-ben is nice
It's not as pronounced as most, but what's there is pleasant.
