It's gotten intense

They're all kind of reaching the breaking point of their relationship with Akito and the suffering of the curse

I wonder if previous incarnates of the Souma curse had similar strains with their relation to the family head
Or if the cycles of rebirth and continued building tension have just finally hit the absolute tension point over generations of family members

For once Akito wasn't the immediate villain here though
She does kind of relish in making herself evil at every chance she gets

Akito being jealous of Haru loving Rin kinda takes on a slightly different idea with the reveal that Akito's a girl
But I think it's not really a romance jealousy thing
If Akito sees all the Zodiac Soumas as her property, then them showing adoration and love for other people is where the jealousy comes from

She got put in her place a bit.

Well the problem is Akito is also a bit of a victim here
It obviously doesn't excuse all her awful behaviour
But she's been brainwashed since birth to believe she's God and everyone in the family serves no purpose but to satisfy her

And there's some awful tension and abuse between her and her mother

Akito's mother is a bit of an eleventh hour villain though
She was absent from the series right up until Akito got revealed as a girl

Looks like she gets her happy ending for the moment

For the moment she's being carried like a sack of potatoes!

If he wanted to be really charming he could at least princess-carry her hah hah
