visually, the colors and imagery are great there is some lacking in the story but i kind of expected that the fight was super cool looking it feels weird though because that could be like it's own 4-episode show i'm guessing the next arc will refer a lot to these events tho

The real plot does take a bit to kick in with the game But that sort of thing is usually pretty fine since games have other things to keep your attention while they lay the foundations for story It's a harder sell on a purely storytelling format.
The last series the author duo did before this treaded a much finer line between cute and unsettling I wonder if they'll slip back into that before too long
