Probably back to the plot now after a somewhat one-off episode last week

Nobara's such a brat of a teenager
She sees some punks and just wants to pick fights

Oh did Megumi used to be a delinquent
Or some self-delusional JUSTICE seeker who went around beating up delinquents

This is some good backstory for Megumi
He hasn't really gotten a lot of that so far

crazy curse stuff going on

They jumped into the main plot for quite a while earlier
When the series started I kinda thought we'd get more like this, with the gang going around squashing occult happenings
But then Itadori went and got temporarily killed and it drifted off from that a bit

Oh that's nice
For a second there I thought Megumi was gonna be a bit of an edgelord and push them away
But he didn't
And it's nice to have friends

That curse seems a lot more stable.

And here's the one that patch-face was creating earlier in the episode
Not sure if he sicced it on the gang or the other cursed spirit

If you think about it, gyoza being a vegetable dish kind of makes sense
Pork is the most popular meat filling for gyoza I think, but it didn't make its way into east Asia until the Europeans arrived
So before that they probably only really had cabbage and other vegetables to fill the dumplings

That said I still think vegetable-only dumplings would not be very good.

I might be a bit off about pork, but cows are a relatively very recent introduction to east Asia
That's partially why lactose intolerance is overwhelmingly common thing to have in that part of the world; they don't have the literal millenia that Europeans, Africans, and west Asians have drinking the milk of other mammals.

I'm pretty sure this bear is absolutely crazy

This bear is getting more and more dangerous.

I guess there is an off-chance Tem did willingly surrender himself up to the bear
And there might've been a weird herbivore psychology thing that Tem did "jump" into his mouth
Since that is an actual IRL thing some small herbivores will do.

The bear's face after eating makes me think that's not the case.

I would be honestly surprised if that was how things went.

They don't have much of the same expression eyes on most of the other animals have

Haru does have similar eyes, being a rabbit, but they work less menacingly on her because she's, well, a rabbit

Pina's words there were definitely not just him acting in the play

I was pretty confused for a moment there!
Thought I'd paused my episode without thinking about it or something.

Even redeemed this lady is a snake

Oh the dwarf and old guy messed up a bit
They left enough of a memory in that lady that she was able to remember the dwarf being around

This is such an irrepsonsible king
But I guess most kings were probably pretty irresponsible.

Seems like the little league of evil is getting their way

I hope they get their belts back

Yeah, especially since it's kinda what lets the Belt Princess play on the same level as the rest of the cast sans Lloyd
I mean I guess she seemed to have good magic affinity, but it was her belt that really made her crazy like the rest of them
Would be a shame if she had to take a level down like that.

Hello from the Otherside

Oh yeah they wanted to do a rescue mission
Yeah for the soldiers they met in the Otherside

The Otherside at night was really wild
Would be neat to see it again

The otherside is pretty wild in general
but it's too dangerous, i wouldn't want to see it

As long as I was confident I had a way back I'd love to experience it

Looks like the hat seems to work as a kind of fixed gate at least
It brought them back to approximately the same place it did the last time
Though it also seems to have brought them back at night, despite them trying to get in during the afternoon

They even get some free guns and ammo for coming to the rescue of these guys
