Osamu and Chika look like they both got gear upgrades since the last tournament battle Osamu's will probably be fun since he's a bit of trickster style fighter Chika's is probably just BIG GUN SHOOT BIG I guess Kuga didn't get any power up before he's already strong.
>>924181 They seem like a solid team of strong guys good tactics
but it seems like they go pinned a little bit
Anno
Purple has a good ... whatever they call the person who works support at the desk I think individually they're all pretty solid fighters, with the redhead being naturally skilled But they don't get along well on a base level. If their support can whip them into shape they'll probably be who the main trio have to actuall y beat to win this round.
Anno
Yeah I'm feeling the main trio, or at least Osamu, still has a plan under a plan here The other two teams think because the main trio needs points that fighting eachother will force the main trio to join in to earn points So they think they can control the rules of engagement and where they fight But that feels like the kind of thing that chessmaster Osamu would have already taken into account.
>>924185 Her thing is she's not actually a great sniper; in that her accuracy is kind of mediocre But she's got crazy reserves of the Trion energy that powers everything in this series that all her shots end up being one-shot kills if they land And can even penetrate straight through solid barriers like walls and such She's more of an artillery cannon than a sniper.
Anno
I dunno, maybe this kind of language is agreeable to those who are used to Japanese formality But the way the emperor here is praising Ains just feels overwhelmingly flowery and overdone to me It's the kind of thing that about twenty words in my ears just turn off and it becomes white noise
Oh, I thought he was a NPC he kinda has that look to him
Anno
He's definitely one of the more-dull adventurers For the most part, the adventurers have a lot of that "Player character in an RPG cutscene" vibe to them You can even see it when they've been doing panning shots of the crowd this episode The adventurers stick out like sore thumbs.
Anno
So I guess Eins' model of change is to establish a mutual democratic assembly with both adventurer and People of the Land representatives Shiroe's model is to mostly maintain the same Round Table administration as before, but involve representatives from the People of the Land and have the adventurers take on more bureacratic roles
And I guess Shiroe's won out. Though even besides the election, it seems like he also totally ruined the emperor's ability to support Akiba by re-activating the gate. By extension undermining Ains' relevancy as Duke of Akiba.
Anno
Back to ADVENTURE next episode Krusty in China Plus the leader of Shiroe's old guild and her weird party of weirdos.
That was kind of an awkwardly long picture montage
Anno
They got some training montage work in there too The series has kind of established all its characters by now so they can't do training episodes using character-establishing plots But it also means we can probably get to the actual performances faster, which is nice.
Anno
That trio of girls are cute but their costumes feel kind of excessive I can't imagine doing idol step in a heavy mantle like the ones they were wearing is particularly easy.
Anno
It must be pretty thrilling to go out on stage and perform seriously for the first time. I've only ever done elementary school performances and a few yearly piano recitals before, which were only for other students and their parents So it's a bit of a different thing from a professional performance like this. Must be fun.
Anno
The production values for this show are really nice. It makes for some good performances.
Anno
The gangsigns on this half's performance were kinda silly though They kinda distracted me from the rest of the visuals.
Anno
It 's nice for the imouto that her onee-chan gets to watch her debut from beyond the grave
I guess things have been going well for too long Though it also seems like it's Miyamura reflecting on how much he's improved since his unhappy middle school days.
Anno
Hah hah hah Poor Sengoku-kun He's such a wuss I can kinda understand that though
Thos This is a good show I guess they're going to concentrate on side characters a lot more
Anno
There's still a bunch of unresolved stuff with the side characters Like these two, and the love triangle that's arisen between green-hair, purple-hair, and Hori's friend.
Anno
They're both kinda dorks How fitting of each other
Anno
She doesn't give a SHIT about that other guy's crush It's kind of refreshing
Anno
Wow dude
Anno
That was a much more shoujo-poi confession moment than the one between Hori and Miyamura Kinda funny
Wow they're just absolutely murdering purple-hair here
The guy that asked her out is pretty hot though, yeah And seems like a bit of a moe klutz Maybe she doesn't have a thing for guys like that though.
Anno
I think one of the kinda ridiculous things about teenage romance in Japanese fiction is the whole "I've liked you from afar but have never really talked to you, but I'm gonna confess and want to date you" Arrangements like that aren't exactly solid foundations to build a relationship off of. Not that it doesn't also kind of happen in fiction all over the world, but it really seems to get run to the extreme in stuff like anime and manga.
